"Great Memories brought back..."

This of all games is one that will keep you entertained for hours. A ton of your favorite arcade games are brought back fro your enjoyment. Midway made a smart move with this game title. With single and multi-player fun, this game is pretty darn good.

Graphics- Well the opening looks good. But since these are classic arcade games, you can't expect really good graphics. BACK THEN these are great graphics. So I'll keep it with back then and say that for the time they were made, they have good graphics. But since there are so many games packed in there, they look good. The movies about the games are very nice looking though. So unless your grandpa watched this, you're not in for anything real ''advance''.

Sound- the sound varies from game to game. But the ''boops'' and ''beeps'' sound authentic. The movies sound pretty good. But as I said earlier, the old school sounds aren't so great because we do better these days with sounds. But you really can't say they are bad, more of just out of date. The main menu sounds good when you choose different games. You can't really judge this title by the sound quality really.

Gameplay- Pretty Nice if you ask me. Besides a few control problems, things run smoothly. There are a ton of games to play, 24 in all. Games in hyphens are Multi-player. They are Spy Hunter, Defender, Defender II, ''Gauntlet'', Joust, Joust 2, Paperboy, ''Rampage'', Robotron 2084, Smash TV, Bubbles, RoadBlasters, Blaster, ''Rampart'', Sinistar, ''Super Spirit'', Marble Madness, 720, Toobin', KLAX, SPLAT!, Satan's Hollow, Vindicators, and Root Beer Tapper. Most are pretty fun. Especially the multi-player ones. Rampart is especially fun. But anyway, like I said earlier, the controls aren't always good. Also they don't have the games of Pac-Man, Mrs. Pac-Man, or the Simpsons Game. These are very big classics that they left out. Some levels in the games are too much of the same at times, especially Rampage. But don't get me wrong, this a great game. If you're bored and want something to do, this is the game for you. If you and a friend are bored, Rampart is the game for you. and if you have a multi-tap you can have up to 4 players at once.

In conclusion, this a great game. It's not very expensive either so grab a copy. I assure you it's worth every dollar. It's great for people all ages and can entertain for hours without the cost of a regular arcade. So over a few weaknesses, I give Midway Arcade Treasures for PS2 a 8/10.
