Secret Weapons Over Normandy

I thought this game was great. The PS2 could really use a few more games like it. Every thing was great; it was a good well-rounded game. If you like flying games that use WW2 airplanes this is a game for you.(this game plays like Star wars games(it was made by Lucas Arts))

Game Play 10/10
I don't know how it could have been much better than it already was! The game was excellent, and I also enjoyed how it played. The controls were easily learned and took no time at all to master. An inexperienced PS2 player might have problems learning the controls, because it use all the buttons.(if you have this problem, then refer back to the booklet or look at the options.)

Graphics 9/10
The graphics on the airplanes were great, but the ground and sea was a little lacking. The ground was still good, but I think it could have been done a little better. Over all the graphics looked great and did a good job showing off the airplanes.

Sound 9/10
The sound was great. It was pretty good, but not the best I've heard. Some airplanes just didn't seem to sound right. There is some music, but it does not overwhelm the the airplane sounds.

Story 10/10
Believe it or not, but there is actually a story. The story is portrayed through a journal that is read to you by the voice of ''you''. (your character)The story is good and is pretty much linear. I do not know if the missions are historically accurate, but they have pictures of people which they tell you are the pilots.

Creativity 8/10
The game wasn't that creative. They couldn't really be that creative because they made a historical based game.

Bonus Features 9/10
The bonuses come through unlocking airplanes. You get the extra airplanes by playing the levels, and doing the extra and secondary parts. (If you beat the game you get a really nice pair of fighters.)

Buyability 10/10
This game is a real seller, in my opinion. I think this game is worth the money, but if you have a low budget then wait till the price drops.

OVERALL SCORE 9/10
I give this game a 9/10 because it is a well rounded game. Through playing this game you see the life of World War 2 fighter pilot come to life. You get to play in fighters, bombers. and even turret gunners. I think the game was an overall success.
