Good description of this game!

Intruhduction
Amplitude is the best music game. Forget DDR and its cheesy Japanese songs. Amplitude is very addicting and fun. There are songs from your favorite artists (because I say so), such as… hold on let me go get the game case… David Bowie, Blink 182, Pink, P.O.D., Run-DMC, Garbage, Quarashi, BT, etc. Quoteth Travis Barker from Blink 182, “Cool bands. Cool music. Check it out…!” Blink 182 said that! This game MUST be cool! In Amplitude, you are a FreQ. You move along a path with 6 columns that stretch to the end of the level. Each one is a different instrument, such as drums, bass, synch, vocals, FX, guitar, and banana squishing. There are little blue notes on the columns. If you press the corresponding button on each note of a whole few bars, that instrument section disappears and you move left or right to the next one, brudduh. This game is very exciting, as there are about 25 great songs to do this on. Some of the songs are great, many are good, and a few are bad. Just don’t play the bad ones, and you’ll be on your way to success in the modern stock market! Just don’t invest in AOL.

Gruhphics-10/10
GOOD GRUHPHICS!!! GOOD GRUHPHICS!! The menus are great and navigativablicious. In game, the backgrounds of the songs are astounding. The many colors and patterns are very trancy. There are some TV like things in the background that either show your player, the artist, or the name of the song, and other decorative things. It looks like you are moving through a very futuristic city where the buildings are tall and colorful and seals speak Hebrew. Just make sure that you’re not photosensitive or prone to seizures or something, as this will be your worst nightmare. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or your pet seal that you are trying to teach Hebrew, but your guardian angel keeps telling you to wait until the year 2459. The FreQs are very… animated. Strangely, I haven’t noticed any apparent eye-straining PS2 aliasing. It’s only there if you look really hard, like I did.

Sounduh-10/10
GOOD SOU… yeah you get the point. There is a great selection of songs. When every instrument is activated, the songs sound fan-moosing-tastic! The instruments are very detailed. They each play according to where the beats are placed. If you make a song with non-stop beats, the song will play like ca-raaazy! If an instrument isn’t activated, it won’t play. It’s just not the same when the chorus of your favorite song is playing, and the guitar or bass isn’t activated, or even worse, the vocals! MAMMA MIA! The menu has a pickley beat to it. Pickley means good, but good doesn’t always mean pickley!!!!! Remember that. It can help you in your upcoming life.

Contruhls-7/10
This is where the apple is dull. The best controls are L1 for the left note, R1 for the middle note, and R2 for the right note. It works out very well, until harder songs where you may miss a beat because the song has R1 and R2 really quickly together. Your right index and right middle fingers won’t work as well together as you left and right index. Also, if you want to activate an item, you’ll have to press the X button, which can be out of the way, and may cause you to accidentally miss a note because you went to press the X button. WHY??? WHY?????? It is also very irritating trying to get to a far off column after finishing one. For example, you hit all the beats on the far left column, and the only available next one is on the far right. You will probably not get there in time, or get there and press the wrong note in panic, causing you to lose your combo. This seriously alone lowered this game’s score to 9/10. It’s that annoying. Later songs are also sometimes very cheap, and take luck instead of skill. For example, the same note played 15 times in a row really quickly, or something like left, middle, right, middle, left, right, middle, left, middle, right, middle, right, middle, right, right, right, right. Yeah… unless you are a complete nerd and can DO this without a problem, this will be imposshibibble.

Yeah I’m sure you have an OK idea on how the game plays so far. In game mode, there are 4 difficulty levels: Mellow, Normal, Brutal, Insane, and Dave’s Afro. There are 5 worlds, each with 4 or 5 songs: 2 or 3 songs, a boss song (lol), and a bonus song that you get by getting a certain total score in the world. There is a remix mode, where you can customize the beats and some other things about a song. You can listen to game songs like a soundtrack, and of course, you can do options. There is also a 2-4 player multiplayuh mode, and an online mode. Fun.

I’m kind of bored of this, so I’ll sum it up. Multiplayuh, online, getting high scores. Play with your friends, play online, download remixes, get 4 ''bars'' for a score on each song on each difficulty, etc.

Just get this game. I got it for $10 at the KBToys sale. I'd say it's worth it's current price of about $30. Every time you don't buy this game, a guy named Gregor will yell, ''Um die flagge kampfun!'' into your ear. You don't want THAT to happen! BUY THIS GAME HURRY! A Network Adapter will help, too, man, dude.
