"Regrets..."

If you got this game, you will regret it. Britney does look good in the game, but that's about the only thing good about the entire game. I had gotten the game without knowing how bad the game was, and now I'm regretting it pretty bad. All you get in the entire game is 5 measly songs. That's it! 5 SONGS! No hidden songs or anything! A dancing game with only minimal songs, is so totally not fun. If THQ plans to make a sequel, here's some advice. Put EVERY Britney Spears song in existence into the game. I don't care if there's too many, PUT THEM IN IT! Here goes my review of the original.

Gameplay: 3/10

What goes wrong in this category is that the entire game has you focused on a single bar going around the circle. You can NOT focus on the dancers, otherwise, you'll blow it. Add the fact that the game from time to time moves the icons on you, will not only make the game challenging, it makes the game frustrating.

Sound: 7/10

This is the game's best element if you ask me. The song's quality is excellent. THQ actually got the actual songs in the game! That'll amaze any Britney fan, which I'm not.

Challenge: 9/10

The Audition Mode's challenge starts off extremely easy, but as you progress through the game, the songs become harder. MUCH harder, and your opponents will nail the spots with perfect timing, something that can be very, very difficult. Not to mention irritating. Each time you do the different songs (not including retrying), the button format changes completely, throwing your play style off completely if you memorized the layouts, which pretty much sucks.

Replay Value: 2/10

This is one of the areas where the game falters. Five songs with two styles of doing each song. A short part of the song, and the entire thing. That's not enough to even satisfy the hardcore Britney fans.

Graphics: 9/10

Best area for the game for me. Brit looks absolutely gorgeous in the game, the music videos are squeezed in there, and the dance movements are just like Brit's actual dances. Truly excellent.

Overall: 2/10

Unless you are one of the largest Britney Spears fans, stay as far as possible from this title as you can. But if you are a Brit fan, by all means pick this one up. To only the hardcore Brit fans, this game does not disappoint. To the rest of us, this game is just one gigantic let-down.
