"Not even worth the money"

Introduction - This is a dirt racing game by Ratbag. Now I've played there game in the past, and I have enjoyed them greatly, like the now ''classic'' original Dirt Track Racing on PC. Now if your still reading this, and you haven't bought the game, don't. If you like these kind of games, then you probably already own Dirt Track Racing, which in my opinion, is a superior game to this one.

Gameplay - To be straight to the point, this game Isn't fun to play at all. It doesn't do to much to keep you playing, besides just racing cars with dull, easy AI, and getting the very, very few un lockable things. Arcade mode is straight forward. You pick Single Race, Time Trial or Championship, pick what car you want, then you race. In Career Mode, you do more of the same, with a few story mode twists. You sign up for a race in your diary, then you go race. You earn money, repair/upgrade your car, then repeat until bored. There is a Multiplayer mode, but its the same as Arcade, but so you can suffer with a friend.

Story - Its a racing game, so you race to win.

Graphics - The game looks pretty good, heck, I call it the high point of the game. The visual damage in the game is lacking, but its all really smooth, but it seems to be to bright at times. Car collision could have been done better, but its nothing to worry about.

Sound - Engines roaring, tires squealing, others sounds you would hear in a racing game. The music isn't to memorable, so you wont be humming it any time soon. I suggest playing some of your own music in the background while playing this game.

Play Time/Replayability - The game will take a few hours to beat, but you'll be done with it way before that. Once you beat this game, if you make it that far, and I stress the fact, if, then there is no reason to ever play this game again, unless you want to show your friend in Multiplayer what a mediocre game you wasted your money on.

Final Recommendation - Don't buy this game, it's not worth the money! If its to late, and you just ran out and bought it, I feel sorry for you, but try to play it for more than an hour. If your desperate for a dirt racing game, then just rent it, you will thank me. Otherwise, go and play your copy of Dirt Track Racing. If you don't own that, head down to your local K-Mart and buy it for around $7.00, and enjoy a good game.
