"There are two kinds of people in this world..."

There are two kinds of people in this world. The ones who play movie genera games for the continued storyline and the ones who play it for the action. If you happen to be in both of these catergories this game is definitely an excellent buy. If not you might want to make a quick analysis before making any decisions.

This game is not ''great'' it is not something that you will be playing for hours non-stop either. However, this game is ''fun.'' You will most likely find yourself playing this game for 20-40 minutes at a time at certain levels that you enjoy. At slightly less frequent times you continue the storyline in either a ''when I get around it'' manner or you do it in all one burst. Either way the storyline is not key to this games enjoyment but it definitely helps.

The graphics of this game are not above average... as a matter of fact they are slightly below what might be considered the accepted standard. The only place where the graphics might seem like high class playstation 2 work is in the cut scenes which are pretty well played out. The graphics, however, are good enough to be engaging and they do not affect gameplay in the slightest. Graphics: 5/10

The storyline is decent and it follows the lives of Niobe and Ghost as they go through their own adventures occuring at the same time as the events in The Matrix Reloaded. This gives movie goers a different perspecive of the events in the movie. It is doubtful, however, that if you are not a hard core movie fan that the storyline will mean anything to you. Storyline: 5/10

The gameplay is the true heart of this game. Whether you want to go into focus mode and dodge bullets or run along a wall while shooting your double weilded automatic handguns.... it is excitement and enjoyment for all. It is fun to tough it out for a little while but eventually you will venture to the hacking section and the true fun begins. Infinite focus, all the weapons, and infinite ammo will bring new life to the game. You will find yourself wielding a sniper rifle as a close range assault gun, a shotgun as a aiming frag grenade that never runs out of ammo and can be reused again and again. The possibility are endless. Obviously with this power eventually comes boreness which is where you finally start to realize that there isn't much to this game besides running and gunning. But running and gunning can be fun and you will definitely be playing this game a few times a week or even every day for about 20-40 minutes. Gameplay: 9/10

The controls are not enjoyable but they get the job done. There is really no thought by the makers of the game as to what the average gamer would be used to. Besides the R1 being the fire button (Familiar to us socom fans) there is really nothing to work with. Everything can pretty much be adjusted to but don't be surprised if you want to kick and end up punching and vise versa. But in this game those moves are so much alike that it shouldn't bother you that much. All the controls can be re-learned when coming back to this game in about 2-5 minutes. However, there is one part that will always have you finger fumbling. The weapon switching really is annoying and never feels quite right. Most can do it relatively efficiently but it just isn't as natural as MGS or socom weapon switching. Once again choose a gun and keep it for a while because boy it takes about 30 seconds to switch again. Controls: 4/10

The cost efficiency of the game depends on what kind of gamer you are. If you enjoy the storyline and have seen the movie and are really ''in'' to the whole action genera then this game is for you. This game is also for the light fans who have just seen the movie for the cool action flicks. This game supplys you with endless amounts of similar gameplay that somehow will keep you engaged for short periods of time pretty much forever. I have had the game for about a year or so and I still play it at least once or twice a week for at least 30 minutes. (With the hacking features of course) The price tag is low so if you don't have anything to do with those big wads of cash in your back pocket and you don't feel like giving it to the Kuja9998 charity foundation then buy Enter The Matrix! Cost Efficiency: 9/10

Rent/Buy

This might sound odd but this is not a game to rent. You simply will not be able to play this game for more than 3 hours a day... at least I couldn't. Buy this game it isn't that expensive and you experience the real joy of the game.

NO RENT
YES BUY

My final scores never add up and that is because of two reasons. One some aspects of the gameplay are more important then the others and two I try to make my scores based on the percentage of people that could truely enjoy and cherish this game. In my viewpoints this is 60% therefore regardless of the specs which are just there for your referance and concerns this is my score.

Final score: 6/10
