"For the Hardcore Baseball Fan"

Graphics-8:The graphics on this game were an upgrade from 2004, and with fielder cam it makes them seem 2 times better.The faces look actually real if you get a decent view at them.

Gameplay-10:If you love baseball you will love this. Homers are not as common in other baseball games.It has the hardcore gamer's feel to it.When you pitch you get a view that is really good.It is right behind the pitcher,and you just put the ball exactly where you want it.

Franchise-9:Again it is a real baseball game. Finances is in the game in franchise mode and it has how much money you have to spend to go out and get the big dollar ballplayers.The stadium selection in expansion mode is terrific. It even gives you a tour of all the stadiums.

Extras-8:The scenario mode is sure to give you a challenge most of the time.The pick-up games are fun to play, and a good way to find out good people to pick if you start a franchise.The Trivia game is updated in graphics and is still a fun play.

Replayability-9:If you play a franchise you will be busy with that for a while. A good gameplay game never goes out of date. Making franchises is also something that is very replayable.

Sound-6:It is just not the kind of music I would listen too. It is mostly rock, but not underground. I would put that on a to due list for next year

Buy or Rent:I know you are waiting for me to say buy, but to prove that your a hardcore fan you might want to try it out first.Like I said if you are you will love it.Rent, but if you know your a true fan that you might want to buy.

Best Thing:Being able to have such an in depth franchise mode, and still have good gameplay to back it up. Scenario Mode is a very big thing to start off on to teach the basics.It has a Tutorial Mode built in, and it explains some stuff to you.

Worst Thing:The sound is a little bit weird in my mind, but again to me. I am spoiled on last years Tiger Wood's 2003 game music, but sound is an improvement area.
