MVP Baseball 2003

"Get up! Get up! Get out of here! GONE!!"

Introduction
This game is another baseball game based on the year 2003 as you can see in the title. It has many different modes to play that will keep you busy.

Graphics 7/10
The graphics are great till it comes to the instant replay. I just finished playing a game were I could have won it in the 9th but had to go into extra innings. I hit a deep ball to the center and it looks like its a Home-Run but the outfielder catches the ball. I go into instant replay and it is gone but the fielder jumps on the wall and a glitch makes it go in his glove. I was stunned. Many other times when it comes to home runs I have had glitches. I hit one threw the wall at the twins field. So their are weaknesses to this game.

Sound 9/10
Sometimes when you listen to the announcers one of them cracks and it makes me laugh but the sound is good. When you get to rivalry games sometimes the fans start yelling ''Swing at it'' '' Get him out of here'' So it is good to hear it.

Gameplay 10/10
Well you cant really go wrong with the gameplay for a baseball game. They give the extra stuff like home-run derby and tips from the pros so it is fun. You can just play now, start a season, or a franchise and many more things.

Controls 10/10
Like the gameplay it is hard to go wrong with controls. Everything is their and it does not hurt to move your fingers. The only bad thing about this is when trying to steal a base. When you run to the next base you must hit L1 but when you don't think you can make it hit R2 to go back. It takes a while for the player to switch so it usually causes an out.

Playtime
You will have hours of play time. In a season and franchise you have to play the 162 games I believe in the regular season. That does not include the playoffs. So you will get many many hours playing this game.

Closing
Should you buy this game? Well I would not. Since it is already 2004 I would either buy the 2004 game or wait till the 2005 comes out. Unless you have a favorite team that traded all of its players away. Like the Brewers did with Richie Sexson. So I like this game because it has him with my states team.

Is it worth buying used?
Well like I said if you like this game a lot then do so. I would buy it used before new because it has been out for so long.

This game is really fun and you can have lots of fun with your friends playing a tournament. This has great replay value and was worth the time I spent beating it.
