"What an ingenious, awesome invention!!!!!"

Whoever created the eye toy deserves 5 platinum stars. This game is awesome! It comes with a camera that you hook up to the front of your playstation. when you put the disc in and start playing, you see yourself on the screen! there is some kind of built in motion sensor that responds to your movement. There are TONS of things you can do, starring you, like games, mini videos and just playing around. Here's my review for the Eye toy.

Graphics 8/10
When I talk about graphics on this game, I mean the background details and the little characters that talk to you when you're done with a game or the effects in the "play room" (see gameplay). When you play this, you may notice that the graphics are comical. WHO CARES. This is the part that makes all of this game interesting. The special characters who talk to you before and after games all have their own style and clothes. From a boxing robot to ghosts that you have to explode to materialising special effects, the comical graphics of this game make the Eye Toy part of what it is.

Sound 8/10
Some of the sound on this game is cheesy and some of the voices are badly impersonated, but the rest is just plain interesting. On the game "ghost eliminator",there is a really cool sound that the ghosts make when the explode. The sound is hyped up and really adds fun to the gameplay. Though sometimes comical like the graphics, these sounds also add the fun to playing this game.

Control 10/10
The control on this game is extremely simple. YOU ARE THE CONTROLLER! all you do is put your hand on the little arrow markers to file through the stuff you want to do, move your hand while it's on the command buttons and whatever other stuff you do. When playing games, however, it's even simpler, yet it's still fun. Just hit the stuff or move your hands over them to win the games, each in different simple ways that make the games fun. Ingenious.

Gameplay 10/10
Gameplay is the most fun part of the Eye Toy. With the wide variety of games, like hitting the little guys that jump at you or boxing a robot, it's hard to get bored. Also, if you play on a loaded profile that you created and get a high score, then a photo of you will be taken and it will appear on the high score chart for that game. You can also make mini-movies, which lets you chose how long you want it, from 10 seconds to 1 minute. Also, there's the play room. There is a bunch of special effects you can choose from, and when the motion sensor picks up your movement, it will add the effect that you chose, for example, with the materialize effect, whenever you move it will look like your molecules spread apart and come back together when you stop moving. I would name all of the effects but that would take forever. Overall, this is a VERY fun game that will be next to impossible to get bored of.

Overall 10/10
There is no reason whatsoever to not play this game. It's hyped,corny fun is something you can enjoy all day. There is a reason I gave it a 10. The best part is the price. For an invention like this, it's pretty dang cheep. I got it for 40$. With such a cheap price and so much fun, it's a must-have.

Rent or Buy?
Without question, buy. For one thing, it's unavailable in video stores, and for another,it's so much fun, you had better not think twice about getting the Eye toy.

If anybody ever tries to stop you from getting an Eye Toy, gut punch them really, really, really hard. Then be on your way.
