"Chaos and insanity"
Introduction
Whiplash is a game where instead of you killing animals. It's the animals beating up the humans. It's fun just to whack a mad scientist with a rabbit instead of kicking some animal in. Whiplash features lots of places to go and you have to go not once but twice in each level. You control a crazy weasel and get to beat stuff up with your bunny wrecking ball.
Gameplay
The gameplay can sometimes be annoying because of lasers appearing then not going away for about two minutes, that's why you must be patient. It's fun to play and challenging at some points. Unfortunately, if you get lost, the map is VERY difficult to use. Why can't they just use a simple plan view? The game varies in difficulty, sometimes it's climbing through vents smashing bad guys, or pounding the **** out of a tough enemy. A fun feature is you can you can throw Redmond, the rabbit, in fusion barrels for uses like, radioactive rabbit, flaming fur ball, rabsicle and more.
The story
Spanx, the weasel, was another victim of the electro-shock testing. Redmond, however, got the unfortunate part of a cosmetics test subject. So, what do Genron, the company, do with these useless animals? They throw them into the dreaded genetic re-combiner to combine two animals, into a fresh new one. Spanx and Redmond were chained together and thrown into the genetic re-combiner...
Sound
The music is repeated through many levels until getting to the waste depot. It's all the same as power. Through power, robotics, shipping and genetics. It's all the same. Medical got on my nerves a bit because of the odd sounds and repetitiveness.
Replay value
Whiplash took me about a week to complete, the replay value is good, you must go back through all the levels and collect the security card from each one to get to the executive. If you haven't bankrupt Genron then you can go back to do so. And you can collect every other thing. However, 100% completion is extremely difficult.
Final Recommendation
This game is great and as soon as I'd rented it once I rented it again straight after. If you are still unsure of this game then rent it first. It's worth it for 1 weeks worth of gameplay. Whether you just want to pound the crap out of enemies or bankrupt Genron, I think this game is good enough to buy.
