Max Payne
Review by firefly5483
"Max Payne, A New brand of shooter."
Max Payne: What happens when you push a man too far, he's going to push back. In Max's case, the Murder of his Wife and Child causes him to go undercover and find revenge. He's a cop also, so he's got his resources, it only toke him 3 years to get a lead, real patient Max is. And another side note, when playing make sure you aren't alone so that you won't go into this trance and keep playing the game until you beat it, like my friend did when he was playing the Suffering at his place. Unless you want to after all.
Graphics: The graphics in this game are the really great, real super but it has a little flaw, the graphics are kinda bad though because it's kinda grainy. It looks weird. But even with that flaw which is a very tiny flaw it is a great game. the sounds of the game is also good, including the voice acting, they picked a great cast for this game.
Story: Like I said at the top, when you push a Man to far he'll push back. After his spouse and kid murdered he wants revenge. (That's isn't a spoilers because you find out in the beginning and in the offcail website.) Anyway Max gets a lead to who murdered his spouse and kid and goes to investigate and only to find out that that was just a little part of something much bigger. But he doesn't care, he just wants the revenge he was so eager for after 3 years. And with a story so intense and with background like that sre you convinced it's a good game? So now he's going to get revenge and stop a major drug operation,. And that's all I have to say about that.
Weapons: A Rockstar Game without guns just would not be complete. You have a big selection of weapon which all happen to fit in your trench coat. This game has codes by the way, meaning you can get the weapons in a second or maybe five if you want. From handguns and grenade launchers and baseball bats to Molotov's, New York isn't the greatest place for guys who upset Max Payne. And with the bad weather causing what the people to stay indoors, no innocent bystander will stand in his way while he gets what he wants.
Realism: Okay this game isn't the most realistic game, it is in some ways, but mostly not really. Between missions you have a comic strip thats how your cut - scenes are. And the weapon storage but all the games have weird ways of holding all those weapons and I'm not complaining about that, having all those weapons I mean. Anyway Max has weapons so he starts killing everyone who gets in his way, cops are after him for the massacre and well thats happens. But the death count is crazy.
Playtime: This game takes about like 5 hours for me to beat, at least i think it was five hours. Anyway beating the game and playing it over is so worth it, new diffculties are released, think your the best? Well think again beat all the modes and you are really the best, maybe not the best but pretty close.
Gameplay: The game is superb, it's really fun to play this game, when your blowing off some steam, and with codes in this game, it couldn't be better. It's not easy and it's not hard either, it's just the type of game for the intermediate player.
Buy This Game: So after reading or skimming my review that i had just wrote you should get an idea of how the game is like, I live in America, and the current price is 20.00 dollars, it's a greatest hits. It is totally worth your money. Or you could buy the PC version for 10 Dollars, you do the converting. I really respect this game, one of the best I've ever played, It's second best to me, and that's just me so my opinion doesn't really matter here does it. But you should buy it and see for yourself! So what are you going to do? Buy this game and have a great time or buy something else? Well I don't really care what you choose it's your life.
