"A good game, on the boring side"

~ Rygar: The Legendary Aventure ~

Overall, if you like adventure games that arent very deep in story, this game is perfect for you. I personally, need a good story for an adventure game. If you agree with me, go buy a used N64 and buy Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Anyway, atleast rent this game, overall it is a good playing experience in moderation, depending on your taste in games

Graphics 9/10

Great graphics. Superb. The movements are realistic and the diskarmors like insane. If you are like me and have an obsession with shiny things that kill people and big roman god demon thingees, youll love the graphics in this game.

Gameplay 9/10

When you are progressing in this game, it is one of the most fun games ever. But, struggling in this game is very time consuming and boring. If you arent that committed to beating it, the gameplay might not be as fun and entertaining for you as it was for me. Also, the fighting is great fun. You can choose between power and speed in your diskarmors, and the element of choice is always a plus for most gamers. Overall, the gameplay is strong.

Story 6/10

The story is weak. If you are playing RPG's like Xenosaga or Final Fantasy (variable), the story may not be fitting, making the game a bore. But if you are into fighting games, sports games, or gameboys, then the story for you may be more enjoyable, and making the game very much more fun for you. The whole, ancient rome feel already tells you, either the story is great and extent, and the gameplay isnt very strong, or the opposite and there isnt much to tell about the story at all. In this case, its in the middle, further towards choice number 2.

Value 7/10

For the 15 or 20 dollars you will probably pay for this game, it is worth it if you have some liking for adventure games. If you dont like adventure games, and you like rpgs instead, spend the same amount on xenosaga, if you like action games, spend the 15 or 20 dollars on onimusha 2, or if you like sports go buy the last three years of madden for 25 dollars.

Audio 8/10

the music is unnoticable really, it doesnt get stuck in your head, and youll probably forget its there. The voice acting is good, the lip-syncing is decent, it isnt the best but it is acceptable, for the most part the audio is pleaseable.

The bottom line- Go buy it if you have 15 or 20 bucks lying around and you are looking for a good adventure game. If you have the money but want something else like a different genre, dont buy it, rent it and get a feel for it first, no harm in that. Happy gaming! o_0
