"Great game for the money"

Intro- The corvette the first american muscle car. Truely an amazing car with a long legacy. The Chevy corvette is Idolized by Chevy fans. Maybe the most popular car in the world.
Gameplay-9/10- it reminds you of Need 4 Speed hot pursuit. It is pretty good but not the best. You can't argue about this game though over 100 corvette's including cop car corvette's from 53-03 on the cars with over 50 tracks. You upgrade parts. You have secret cars to unlock that have low production number some only 1 made cars. It tells a long history specs horsepower ratings of the cars. The only Problem is there is only one car type, no FORD's BMW or anything like that but it tells that is the game title "corvette". If you wanting a game with a large variety of the same car this is for you. It has virtualy every corvette ever made with upgrades avalible you can make the C2 vette go as fast a the C4 there are many upgrage avalible.
Controls-9/10- What you would expect from a racing game the only thing bad is the manual transmission it is a little harder to shift. Other than that they are very easy to use.
Graphics-6/10- Not very good like a PSX game gut you can't complain for the price the graphics remind me of Gran Turismo 2.
Value-10/10- Perfect you can't beat it, it is a 10 dollar game I mean come on now you can't beat that. The only other $10 game for the PS2 that even compares is Ford Racing 2.
Sound-5/10- The Engines sound the same which is very odd that a 181 horsepower car and a 750 horsepower car sound identical, and the music choice is limited. So I admit it the sound it not great. The solution is put a CD player on in the background.
Overall-7/10- The value is perfect but if your a FORD fan this is probobly not for you. It is a must have for corvette fans. Don't rent it, it doesn't cost much more to buy it.
