NBA Live 2004

"EA Sports get as Live as possible!"

Introduction:This game NBA Live 2004 is a great fast action sports game. This game in my opinion was the best NBA game this year. I think this game was better than ESPN NBA Basketball. This game has some good sound and good game modes. You can play a season, a dynasty to make your team dominant, practice mode, exhibition games, playoffs, and a one on one mode. This has a freestyle control the right analog stick that allows you to do some nice crossovers and spins at the right time.

Gameplay: 9 out of 10
First you start on the menu screen and you have so many teams to choose from. You can even pick your old school jerseys of the team. On the court, you can do real moves that you see in the NBA. This game is so fun to play against your friends and some family and you have lots of fun and probably play it for a long time. On the court with the freestyle control on defense you can do anything. You can press, stick your hands up in the air, block, rebound, and steal. This is game is more of an arcade game unlike a simulation game. Arcade games make it faster so you can have more fun and it has better features unlike what you might see on TV. This game play is very real on the fun Dynasty mode. On Dynasty mode you can do a fantasy draft if you like and you can do more than one season. You can do awesome trades to build up your team and make it unbeatable! You can sign free agents and there is a draft after the season. They have the awards like MVP, Sixth Man, Rookie of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Most Improved. You can go to the playoffs and make your way to the Finals and win. Overall this game play is good so I give it a nine.

Graphics: 10 out of 10
These graphics are so good. The player look like the real thing. Everyone come to my house and says are you watching a NBA game? I say no! I am playing a video
game. These graphics out score NBA 2k4 by a lot. Those graphics are nothing compared to NBA Live. Once you go play you can see their faces and they look so real. One thing that Live needs to improve on is the crowd graphics. This game has the good shoes and jerseys that make the graphics better. The player graphics are the bomb. The courts look good and they have the correct nice shiny team logo. Overall I give the graphics a perfect rating.

Sound: 10 out of 10
This sound is the best out of any game I have ever played. This has rap and hip-hop music that has remixes of great songs. They add basketball to the songs. Some artists are Chingy, Lil' Flip, Mobb Deep, and Sean Paul. These songs are played on the menu and throughout the game. The in game sound is just as good. They have noise for home court teams. They make sounds when the players dunk. This game probably is the best sports game with the best music ever. Overall I give the sound a perfect rating.

Buy or Rent: Buy
This game is a must buy! You have to buy this game sports lovers for a good collection of games. You will be addicted to this game if you buy it. You can just play one player dynasty a lot or play with your friend's non-stop and have tons of more fun. If you rent this game you will regret you ever paid five dollars just for a week when you could have paid $20. So buy this game!

Conclusion
Overall this game gets a nine rating from me and its way better than NBA 2k4. This game has all the right things to make it popular. I am planning to buy every NBA Live game that comes out. NBA Live 2005 may change the arcade part, and make more stuff realistic to make this game really good.
