Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando

Well a friend of mine let me barrow this game, I never played it before but I did play Ratchet & Clank, I liked it. I couldn't get my eyes of the screen `cause it is such a good game. This game has its ups and downs but the downs aren't that big. So lets get on with the review.

Lets start with
The story (not very explained and will not get a score!)

STORY:
A thief has stolen an experiment for megacorp
So Mr. Fizzwidget calls in Ratchet and Clank to find the thief and bring the failed to experiment back. When Ratchet and clank go through planets and complete other missions they get things to help them on other planets. Once they find the thief and con front it they battle and took the experiment to Mr. fizzwidget.

And that's the basics I'm not going to spoil anything! ~

GAME PLAY: 10/10

I could just take this game out and say Wow again for its amazing game play this game probably has the best game play there is. There is RPG elements and
Weapons and upgrades and everything else you want in a plat former game. You jump you climb you kill things and blow flying cars in the city for no apparent reason! Once again blow up cars fish and get bolts from fury little squirrels (NOTE: the squirrels are not small.) SO you run around with ratchet and clank and kill things and finish missions. AS you kill more things with the same weapon it will eventually upgrade! When you get your gadgets you absolutely need them, or else you wont finish the game! So there you have it, my crappy version of this portion of the review.

GRAPHICS: 9/10

The graphics are all 3 dimensional all over the game. The dimensions are good too; you can see your action from all angles from up to down, the sides, and well all over. I think Insomniac did a great job on the graphics in this game.

DIFFICULTY: Depends

The difficulty depend, if you over level your nanotech (health) early It'll be easy, if you want a challenge and just go with the flow, it would get hard later on. SO it just depends, but the game itself isn't so hard. :p

REPLAY VALUE: 10/10

This is what I like about this game, is its replay value. If you see a game with more replay value email me! In this game you can basically challenge your self
In a game as a challenge, or play an all wrench game, or just one type of weapon. There is no telling on what you can do in this game for a fun replay, and hey, once you beat the game there is a challenge mode! Which is just what it's called, it's harder. And hey this game is fun all over, so why not stop the whining and just play the game over, eh?

PLAYTIME/GAME LENGTH: 7/10

If you ask me this game isn't that long you could probably finish this in under 5 hours, I only wish that the game was longer, I mean FFX or any other one you could play it for 34 hours minimum to finish it. So this game has a down point on this one but whatever, Insomniac put a whole lot of stuff in it, if it got any longer it would take up 2 discs, which I don't see on ps2 often. So that's that.

CONTROLS: 10/10

SO you ask for controls, huh? Well just by the game and see for your self. The controllability is same as other R&C games most of them are anyway. Square is to use your OmniWrench. Circle is to shoot or throw or activate your weapon or gadgets. L2/R2 Strafes, I use them and they are really helpful on boss fights!
X is to jump press x again in air he will do a flip, press it again, he will do something else. Basically every button is used for something maybe not R1 though. So they are all functioning properly, Oh wait, no R1 is used for something, hehe.

Music/Sounds: 9/10

I have to say the music could have done a better job in the game, but what made the score high is the voice acting, and sounds. The voices move with the lips, and sound of the guns are made accurately, I though this game's voice over and acting would have been worse but heck I was wrong! If you ever played resident evil director's cut (my brother did I watched) they were horrible!
SO we have it a nice 9/10!

Yes, yes, Insomniac outdone themselves again with an amazing game called: Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando.
Since my friend let me barrow it, I'm going to have to find it and buy it, or steal one (just kidding) *shifty eyes* Well I hope to see a sequel to this game soon, cause Well, these games are so awesome.

RENT OR BUY:

Definitely buy But if you are not sure about this rent it to see if it fits your taste and how you like it, but for me JUST BUY THE GAME NAD GET OVER WITH IT!!!
