Time Crisis 3

"My Fingers hurt but thats a good thing"

Time Crisis, at least everyone thats a fan of Shooters knows the name. For their 3rd installment in the series they are bringing sleeker graphics, More Weapons (yea baby!) and a longer story. Looks like Namco hit the jackpot with this one .... or did they.

Graphics - 8
A solid 8 on this one. Some of the greatest graphics ive seen in a light gun game. Character models look lifelike your surroundings look real. The thing that stood out to me most were the Trees they look absolutely stunning.

Game-play - 8
Very Simple press a button on the Guncon 2 to hide and pull the trigger to shoot ! Selecting weapons is a breeze. The only thing that annoyed me was the Sniping stages which were kind of tough to shoot the enemy but in game-play its all good. The new weapons are a nifty machine gun, Shotgun, and the all powerful Grenade launcher.

Sound - 6
The only thing you really hear in this game is gunshots and some voice acting. The problem is that some of the guns don't sound anything like their life counter-part. For example sometimes your machine gun sounds silenced when their is no silencer on it. Shotgun sounds like a silenced pistol.

Story 6
Stop the terrorists from launching missiles. Your job is to go stop it from launching sounds stale doesnt it ?

Replay Value - 6
You have 3 modes to play arcade, rescue mission and crisis mission. Arcade is the basic story like you see in your local arcade. Rescue mission you play as Alicia the girl thats trying to rescue her brother from the terrorists. She has to do some different things from arcade mode like be a sniper. In crisis mission you do mini missions for example kill 30 men in one minute. After you beat all these their is no real reason to back to it for a while.

Overall
Its a good deal for the package deal which is a Guncon 2 and Time Crisis 3. So your paying 50 dollars for the game and 10 bucks for a light gun pretty sweet huh. I recommend it to people that like shooting things and blowing stuff up.
