"A Glitches Dream: The Madden Experience"

Okay, the Football Game everyone waits for every year has FINALLY come out to the excitement of many PS2 & X-Box fans to find out that this Game is now ON-LINE!!! However, for those Game-Cube owners (Myself included), we were shutout on this neat feature (WHY!!!!!?). Well, the Review of Madden NFL 2005 might be pleasant or horrible. Well, it's not the Best Madden Game ever, and there are many reasons why. By the way, thanks for reading in advance.

Game Glitches
Why start with Glitches? Well, there are a lot of them, let me tell ya! I mean, on the final play of the Super Bowl, a 3rd & Goal for my Opponent Madden must suggest I use a Punt Return. This hasn't happened once, it's happened every time I've played a new game O_O. Not only that, The Chicago Bears go to the Divisional Playoffs even though they lost 1 game, not once, but twice! And, in both Conferences! But, the greatest move of all had to be the Super Bowl, which simulated was 28-14 victory for the NFC team. While, in the Box Score, the AFC team won 16-7. Now, that's a glitch if I ever saw one.

Referees
Honestly, the Worst Referees EVER! I set Everything to Maximum Penalties, and still no Pass Interference when you see the Defender throw him down 5 seconds before the ball gets there. Then, the Worst Penalty EVER (False Start) isn't called even though you can clearly see them MOVE forward! >_< This makes me very upset indeed. So, I urge the Madden Team to improve the Referees in the Next Game.

Game play: 7
This Game is just as playable as the last Madden game, however, they've got some new features that are hard to activate (The Hit Stick for one). Also, when you save, and then load settings, it always resets to Quick Pass Mode. So, honestly it's not a cool feature which brings the game down. Also, you can't manipulate your Coaching Style (without Coach Mode).

Look: 9
This Game looks SO MUCH better than the last version. The Jerseys, Players, Helmets, Stands, etc. look oh so much better. The only problem, sad to say is the Cheerleaders. They are horrible & play no point in the game whatsoever.

Well, with the Glitches and Referees start the downside of the Game, the Game play & the Look (Graphics) bring it up to an even 5. This game would certainly be a whole lot better if those Glitches weren't there.
