Hot Shots Golf Fore!

"Still the best Golf series"

Game play: 10/10 Easily put this is still the best golf game game play wise today. Its simple enough for anyone to play and yet it has enough advance features that you could spend months trying to master them. There are plenty of fun courses, a minigolf mode, lots of characters with different stats, and you can even add special rules to spice up the game. The physics are also just enough towards "arcade" with out being to much, its a perfect balance. Super backspins and such add to the atmosphere. Some games may be more realistic (links) but that tends to make it hard for beginners to pick up and play. Other games (tw) are more arcadey but to the extent where you don't really feel like your even playing golf.

Graphics: 8/10 Sure they are cartoony but they are meant to be. the courses all look great and the characters look as good as they are suppose to. The only problem is when there are 2 or more players on the screen, the non hitting player model gets a down grade in graphics and looks quite ugly.

Sound 7/10 The music can be a bit repetitive but i enjoy it because it doesn't distract me from my shot. The voices for a majority of the characters are quite annoying though and could lead some people to never play as them. The same could be said for the caddies but luckily there is a dog who just barks (and rarely at that) I must say that dog bark is top quality too!

Controls: 10/10 Perfect, that's all that needs to be said. If something goes wrong its your fault, you have almost complete control over where the ball will land.

Replay: 10/10 There is tons to unlock and it will take forever to master. And best of all there is online play and normal multiplayer to play with your friends. It is very pick up and go friendly so everyone will enjoy playing.

Overall 10/10 (not an average): Like the title says, its still the best golf series. If you like golf you should own this game. If you only have a game cube then get Mario golf, it would be a close second
