"Ghost Busters well.....almost!"

This is essentially a FPS mixed with a little light survival horror. This game so far has gotten little fan fair but provides to be a solid adventure. The thing most gamers will notice right off hand is the game has some really great visual effects and a nice variety with the levels. Onward to the review!

Game Play/ Control 7/10

The control is dead on in aiming mode, the camera however is an obstacle to control a lot of the time. The AI is good at times enemies will scatter hide etc. At other times they stand right in front of your blaster until they are dealt with. I also thought controlling the spirits could have been done a bit more smoothly. Overall the only weak spots are the camera and the inconsistent AI, and ghost forms control. At least it won't make you want to brake your controller.

Graphics 8/10

Namco knows how to make sweet visuals and this game is no exception. Nice back grounds and most importantly great characters/creatures. The lighting effects are really well done as well. However if you do not have a HD tv their will be brake up once and a while nothing to severe.

Sound / Music 8/10

The voice acting is far better then normal bringing the characters to life. The sound effects are all decent nothing fancy and the music soundtrack does a great job of adding to the action and suspense. Very well done!

Plot /Story 6/10

I really like the characters. The story never really seemed to flow well, even after completing it I am still confused on what happened. The story is not very deep or compelling and most of the time does not make too much sense overall. Extensive imagination is required, I guess we can hope for a more coherent sequel.

Difficulty Easy/medium.

Most people will have no trouble with this one. Except for a couple of instances which are not very logical. Mostly easy

Approximate Length
hmmmm from beginning to end I think I took about 10 hours which is standard for these types of games, However I do take my time the first time through to get everything.

Overall Fun 6/10

Their is virtually no replay value in this game once it's done it's done. No special galleries or game modes, no better alternate endings nothing. Which is disappointing when it's all over. I can only suggest this as a rental if your a die hard horror buff wait until it hits the 20 buck mark. I think there was a couple other things that hindered this game it felt rushed. Some of the levels just seemed thrown together at the end. Also during the first 1/3 of the game you can view the array to see the collected ghosts, it doesn't make sense why you can never return to it? good overall maybe a more polished sequel will be in the works.
