Midway Arcade Treasures

"Where ARE Those Treasures?"

Intro: Midway Arcade Treasures...a game of classic compilations into one disc and trying to be sold to the public. This shouldn't have been made or maybe it should be sold at a cheaper price since twenty dollars seemed like a waste to me on this game.

Graphics: 2/10
The graphics were good when the games were originally made but it doesn't cut to today and they didn't even try to make them look better. Maybe sharpen up the image or add more colors or anything to give it a higher score.

Sound: 4/10
The sounds are original and transferred well to this CD. Hearing those sounds brings nostalgia to my mind but I'm quickly taken back to reality as the game begins to become quite tedious.

Gameplay: 2/10
It has already been done so it is hard to comment on other than replaying some classic games remembered in my childhood years. Not much else to comment on in this one.

Controls: 5/10
This is where the game shines as you can fully customize the controls. Of course there isn't much controls to begin with but you can one button and make it something totally different to your comfort.

Replay Value: 3/10
If you love any or all of these games then you will love the replayabilty. There are many games to choose from but of course you will get tired of these short and predictable games.

Extras: 6/10
This game is full of extras. You can see how the games were made and a few other behind the scene extras. It is a good aspect to a bad game.

Buy/Rent: Well rent if you can find it or actually want to spend your money on it. I say rent something else really. It is only $19.99 to buy but it seemed almost worthless to me and I suggest saving it or spending it on something else like maybe food. Your stomach and your mind will thank you later.

Overall/Conclusion: 3.6/10
I always round my numbers so that is what you get really. This game is not recommended by me and yes, sadly, I did buy it. I wish to have my twenty plus dollars back and maybe get a better Playstation One game even. If you like the list of games that are in this one and can't resist having it, then by all means buy it. Better yet, take mine at a cheaper price or maybe I'll just give it to you for free.
