"And you all thought Ace Combat 04 was good..."

Well, me being an Ace Combat ace and a flight fan, I naturally like this game. At least it doesn't take much to like the game though. I personally think many people would like this game a lot. Maybe not as much as me, but still a lot.

Graphics: 10/10 - Okay, just when you thought Ace Combat 04's graphics couldn't get any better, then you were sadly mistaken. Much of the planes, scenery, and characters look almost real. There's even trees this time and the scenes are superb. Kudos to Namco for stretching the limits of the PS2 like that.

Storyline: 10/10 - The storyline will keep you playing. You'll probably even care about the characters. Although I won't spoil the story, I will say you won't get tired with the storyline too quickly. What's better is it seems to go with a fairy tale. A very interesting idea in my opinion. The story is probably the most important part of the game.

Game-play: 10/10 - The controls are very much like Ace Combat 04's. The ability to control wingmen is also good for many scenarios. And the planes and everything is more realistic. It now takes more missiles to destroy something such as a large plane. I'd also like to add that you do have some choices, but most of them are just asking your opinion. Just about all of the missions have next to no dull moments. There are loads of enemy targets and potentially destructive superweapons. All of it is awesome.

Music: 9/10 - In my opinion, this is the worst part of the game and it's still great. The game still has the music player too.

Re-playability: 10/10 - There are so many planes to unlock and lots of missions to get high rankings on. It also has multiple difficulty levels which means you'll be playing for a very long time.

Overall, I think this is a great buy if you like flight games. Even if you don't it's still a good game. Rest assured, this game will keep you playing for a while. I love the game and I think any of you people reading this review will like it too.
