"A great FPS with style."

Well you people want a review and that's what you're gonna get. I won't go over the basic plot and stuff cuz everyone should know that already :P

Graphics: This game flows with style. From the Helghast to the environments, everything looks real, and the lighting in the areas add to the realism. Most of the character models are well done, for the most part. Some of the ISA troops are a li'l flat as far as facial features go, but besides that, everything looks great. & if you're wondering, the grit of the game is a good thing. Why the hell wouldn't it be?

Sound: This stuff is awesome. Every weapon sounds like it packs a punch, and will often cover the voices of your team, which adds to the realism because weapons are loud. The music is great as well. You only get music during the cutscenes, but still nice to hear. The characters VO's are also great. The acting is well done, letting you know how much of a jerk Rico can be and how much of a smartass Hakha can be. The only problems I had with the sound was that sometimes the reloading of a gun you couldn't hear, but this was rare.

Control: There isn't much to say about the controls except they don't take that long to get used to (even though i forgot what buttons did what the first ten minutes.) They're solid and responsive, and get the job done.

Gameplay: Now even though this game is damn fun to play, it does have a few tech issues that should have been deal with. For one, the legs of the dead soldiers act weird, sometimes just ending up in weird positions, while other times, they'll just sorta be twitching all around for a few seconds. Another issue is that sometimes a dead soldier will have half his corpse through the ground. During multiplayer, the only fault that I could find is that the framerate has to chug when the maximum amount of players are on. It doesn't take away from the game too much, but it's noticeable. Even with all this, this game is fun. The Helghast are challenging, and will often hand your ass to you. Seriously these guys are tough just on normal difficulty.

Overall this game gets an 8. If the tech problems were fixed, I'd probably give it a 9, but that's not the case.
