Dance Dance Revolution Extreme

"DDR = forgot the atkins diet."

This was my first DDR game and I have to say it is better than I expected. It offers new features such as mission mode and is fun for all ages.

The song selection is good but it has some weak songs that don't really get you pumping and ready to move around. There also some songs in my opinion make me wonder why they were put in to the game in the first place? Like Stupid Barber it has nothing to do with a barber and all I found great about it was the ending of the song. But other than that the other songs are great and get your blood pumping. But as a warning don't expect the full song for you who hope to play a three minute song because all songs have been cut down to 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. 7/10

Then the graphics they are great for the PS2 with some CGI look to some songs. Then there is other songs that have parts of the music video included and that is a bonus. The graphics in all are pretty good for the circumstances.. 8/10

The fun factor for this game is high for me it offers in my opinion a way to exercise and have fun at the same time. It seems that when you play this game the feeling to get better pushes you. Also the weight loss from repeated play over time isn't bad. 9/10

Replay ability is high in my opinion as I stated earlier it just drags you back to it every time. It just has that pull to it that you may have experienced before on other games and things as sports or movies. I highly recommend this for it's replay ability you won't regret it. 8/10

Overall I would have to say that DDR Extreme is a great game that is fun and a way to get your daily exercise and have fun at the same time. That way exercise doesn't seem like a chore. I highly recommend this game to those that want to lose weight *I know I have lost some weight from this game* and who are just looking for a great game overall. So go out there and try it for yourself and see how much you like it because who knows you might get as hooked as I am. Good luck and have much fun playing this game as I do.
