Inuyasha: The Secret of the Cursed Mask

"Don't get me wrong, I love Inuyasha...but the the SUCKS!!!"
I looked at this game on the shelf and thought "Wow! An Inuyasha game!! Cool!" Well, it's not. In fact, it's very repetitive and boring. Well here goes:
Graphics: 7/10
It all depends on what your into. For the surroundings, it's incredibly good. For the characters...I guess if you only into chibi-like people. I personally am, but when I saw that two of the characters had the same stance I lowered the rating a bit...
Sound: 7/10
I couldn't really say anything BAD about the sound. The music was kind of bland, but the voices were all the same (some where annoying) but there's really not much to say.
Game Play: 1/10
"Thwack!" "Boom!" "Whizz!" Give me a break! How corny and stupid can you get? I like turn-based battle systems, but this is ridiculous! They say the same thing EVERY STINKIN' TIME!!! It gets so annoying I want to return the disk to the store for in-store credit! And the battle animation is stunning...they don't even hit the people!!! It's halfway stupid, but mostly corny.
Dialogue: 1/10
"Uh, hello, you've said the same thing three times!!" That's what I was saying anyway. "Get her!" "Yeah, get her!" "Don't let her get away!" "Get her!" Oh please...mercy. The dialogue often tried to be cute and funny, but mostly it was bland, boring, and annoying. For instance..."I'm going to eat you!" "Oh no! He's going to eat me!" "I'm going to eat you!" "I'm scared he's going to eat me!" "I'm going to eat you!" See my point? How stupid can you get?
Storyline: 8/10
Basically the show with another character (you) thrown in it.
Overall: 2/10
Stay AWAY from this game. It's boring and hardly fun. I even like turn-based, but this was ridiculous. I found myself battling demons FOREVER and when I finally got to a village/place I remembered "Oh yeah...that's what I was doing!" I say don't buy it, don't rent it, don't even look at it. Just watch the show. It's MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better.
