Madden NFL 2005

"Still thee best!"

Its almost been 2 years that I became a football and its all thanks to Madden football games! So far I have play Madden NFL 2004 and ESPN 2K5. Madden NFL 2005 has beaten all those 2 games! If you walk down the street near your house and ask someone if they know Madden NFL games and I promise you that he/she will say "Yes"! Now, lets get to the point!

Gameplay: 10/10
Wow! Just WOW! There are lots of game modes to choose from and they all very cool! Just like the previous Madden NFL games, you still in charge of whatever team you picked. There is also new features added in the Franchise Mode that is EA sports radio, Newspapers and other cool media coverages. You started by playing 4 games in pre-season mode and then enter the season and if you are lucky you will be in the playoff. Owner mode is still the coolest thing about Madden NFL game. For the first time ever, you get to switch a player's position such as Peyton Manning from a QB to a WR. Of course, it will lower his stats. I hope they added pictures to rookies that you drafted in NFL draft in Madden future games!

Controls: 10/10
This game control is the easiest control ever for a football game! If you are a RB, press X to run, square to dive and a lot more. The new "Hit Stick" is very cool! If you move your R3 Analog button, you got more ratio to make your enemy fumble the football!

Extras: 10/10
I bought the Collector's edition and it cost $10 more but its worth it! You get a free poster of Ray Lewis from Baltimore Ravens. You also can play previous Madden NFL games even from 10 years ago!

Graphics: 9/10
Everything is crystal clear and and the players looks real! Instant replay always showed up every time you or your enemy made a big play or a bad one. ESPN 2K5's graphic almost good as this one, but this one is still better by a little bit. There is 1 bad thing about this graphic that is all the players looks like they are on steroids and the uniform look skin-tight, but the graphics is much better than last year or last 2 years!

Sounds: 9/10
The voice of Madden and Al is still the same from last year which is not very good. Other than that, Madden NFL 2005 has new musics that really rocks!

Buy or Rent?
BUY! there is no question about it! If you want a cheap football games, I recommend you to buy ESPN NFL 2K5, but if you want a last long kick butt football game, you really should buy Madden NFL 2005. Madden NFL 2005 is currently ranked 2nd in my top 5 games of all time, so you wont be disappointed! So, what are you waiting for? go to the store and try to buy this game if you have any money and if you don't have money then start saving!
