Champions: Return to Arms
Review by stone100
"A great sequel to a great game"
Champions of Norrath Return to Arms is a great sequel to Champions of Norrath. A lot of the people and my friends that I know say that this game is not very good for some reason that I keep forgetting to ask them for some reason. Anyway, this is the type of game that you explore old dungeons and hack and slash some goblins and other types of enemies.
Gameplay:
I think that this game is really fun to play because your character is so customizable. This game is quite hard to get far. The boss's of the missions are really hard to kill because they have a lot of very powerful attacks. The controls are simple enough to get used to.
The people that made Champions of Norrath Return to Arms changed the game style up a little bit in this game. Instead of running around the world of Norrath, you are given missions from Fiona. If you have played the last game you should know who that is. You can also go on the evil side and then you will get missions from someone else.
Story:
The story in this game is pretty good. Norrath is once again under siege. Another champion must do something about this problem before it is too late and Norrath is taken over by the forces of evil.
Graphics&Sound:
The graphics in Champions of Norrath Return to Arms are good. They look a bit like the ones from Champions of Norrath but that is not necessarily bad. The graphics in Champions of Norrath were good at the times but the ones in this game are a lot better.
Replayability:
The replayability in this game is very good. I think that it is really fun to play over and over because your characters are so customizable. When you start out you can pick from a list of seven champions. Once you pick one, you get to change different things about them like their face and skin color. You can also change their hair style and facial hair like beards and mustaches. I like getting different armor for them as well because it changes what they look like.
Final Recommendation:
This game would make a great gift for anyone who likes RPGs or likes hack and slash type of games. I would say that you should go and rent this game before you buy it if you are going to buy it at all. As I said earlier, many people that I know say that they do not like this game for some reason or another. But still I would say that you should go out and rent this game if you like Dungeons and Dragons style of RPG.
