"Better than the first in every way."

Now if you have played and enjoyed the first game you will love this game. If you haven't played the first game, the story isnt necessary but i suggest to pick it up because it is a quality game too.

Graphics: 10

The graphics are really very impressive, especially in the zoomed in view.(Although that one isn't all that useful.) I can't think of anything wrong with the graphics so I will leave it with that.

Sound: 8

The voice acting and sound effects are good, they could have been better though. The voice acting has become much more responsive since the first game. The only problems with the voice acting is that the characters aren't as believable and they dont talk randomely. In the first one the characters would say something when they got to a new area such as "I wouldn't have thought ants could get so large from eating gnomes." If they did that i wouldve been happy. The characters voices arent as good- if youve ever played the Barbarian you will know how stupid he sounds. But the Berserker sounds real smart. i think they shouldve made them all sound cool.

Control: 10

The controls have also been upgraded since the first one. They made it so you dont need to assign an spell to a quick set to cast it. You can set one skill to triangle, one to circle, and then you can highlight a skill with the D-pad and hit square to cast it. With a shaman this works perfectly as you can just cast badger and healing when you need it and still have 2 quick sets open. The attacking and other things are just a fluid as can be.

Gameplay: 9

The game does a great job making things simple and fun. It is fun and easy to go through a dungeon and kill the monsters and take their treasure.

Replay Value: 10

This is the main part of the game. The game makes it so you make a character, beat the game, then beat it again on a harder difficulty level. This makes each character like 60 hours spent into them, then there are 6 others! This game have the best replay value of any game ive ever played.
