"Musashi, going to stay a legend in art, but dishonored in everything else."

The game looked amazing. That was about one of the only good things it had going for it.

Controls: Simple and basic like most hack and slash games. Your jump, slash, heavy, block and special attacks.

Camera angles could get a little frustrating at times. But that did not happen to often. It followed along nicely and didn't change instantly during some maneuvers like other games.

Audio: The music was composed very well and a lot of thought was put into each section of the levels. The Voice acting was atrocious. This was a major turn-off to the game.

Gameplay: At first, the normal enemies are simple and the bosses seem ridiculously hard. But once you learn the attack patterns, there really is no challenge in the game.

Story: Traditional hero saves village and banishes bad guy. Also, the villains seem to be very team oriented with all the meetings they have take place. After every mission, they meet and discuss what has gone on. No wonder they evil villains are taking over the planet. They got their priorities figured out.

Main things that turned me off. The maidens, why must you always carry them around? That really irritated me when they walk up to you then ask you to carry them just to complete an objective. Musashi's voice was the equivalent to nails on a chalkboard to some people. Least make him sound cool. He looks awesome but sounds like a doofus.

In my opinion, they really should of gone with the history musashi, not having one traditional and then one massive sword. Two traditional katana's would of made this feel more samurai inspired.

Overall: More of a rental then a buy. It has its goods and bads. I did enjoy this game, but the lack of enemy AI at times and the voice acting was just to much of a turnoff to keep on going. Also, the puzzles in the game were not that intricate. Not much thought went into this it seems and the imagicards seem like a pointless way to waste money in the game. Also didn't get much help from the village. Save them from capture but make you pay for everything. Some gratitude for ya there.
