James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing
Review by Twiztid Klown
"Best Bond game since GoldenEye?"
I bought this game on the first day it came out, and when I took it home and started playing it... I must say that it is the best Bond game since GoldenEye.
Story: 8
The story is the same old James Bond-type story... Bad guy trys to take over the world, Bond uses all his fancy weapons, gadgets, and cars (even a motorcycle this time) to try to stop it. The game has a pretty big cast too... Pierce Brosnan as James Bond, Shannon Elizabeth as Serena St. Germaine, Willam Dafoe as Nikolai Diavolo, Heidi Klum as Katya Nadanova, Mya as Mya Starling, Richard Kiel as Jaws, John Cleese as Q, and Judi Dench as M. Its a pretty big cast, a good cast too. And Bonb looks almost exactly like Pierce Brosnan, just like he did in Nightfire.
Gameplay: 9
We get to play Bond in 3rd-person this time around.. First 3rd person Bond game since Tomorrow Never Dies... Only it's actually good this time. There's a pretty good selection of guns and gadgets here, from the Desert Eagle to the shotgun, and from these little explosive robot spider things, to his Rappel gun to let him climb up walls. There's a new hand-to-hand system this time around, where you can actually beat the crap out of your enemies... Some of the moves look pretty cool too, like when he flips his enemy over onto their back and punches them in the face really hard.. Or if they are near a railing, he kicks them in the stomach and throws them over the railing. Theres more too but I don't want to spoil it. The driving in the game also uses the Need For Speed Underground engine, or thats what I heard anyway, and it kind of feels like it a little, when you are driving the cars in the game.
Graphics: 8
The graphics are really nice, but they could be better. The graphics aren't as good as they were in 007 Nightfire, but they are still pretty good. The graphics during a couple of the driving levels look like the graphics from Need For Speed Underground.. Nighttime, ground looks wet as if it has just rained, etc.. Overall, the graphics are nice.
Sound/Audio: 9
The sound and audio is pretty well done in this game. From the voiceovers which are really good, to the sounds of the guns, sounds of the vehicles you are driving. The music in this game is really good, but of course still has alot of that "007" theme music you always hear when you're watching or playing anything that has to do with James Bond. Overall, the sound is really well done.
Overall: 9/10.
This game is the best Bond game since GoldenEye, although it is nothing like it.
I'd say BUY this game, but if you're still worried you might not like it, give it a rental first then. But if you are a 007 fan, I don't think you will be disappointed with this game.
