"A great improvement."

RE2 continues the story of an outbreak caused by a some kind of a biological weapon infecting the people of "Raccoon" City. Turning the citizens into zombies. Your part is- you are one of the few survivors who must find a way to escape this mess before you get eaten by one of these many zombies or get whipped out by the government, who wants to destroy the whole city preventing the disaster from spreading out.

The game-play have some significant improvements . Now you can finally move while shooting, it is very useful when you are fighting group of zombies. The major focus in resident evil OF2 is the playing on-line, you can play with up to three people who select from a cast of characters, your characters are just normal people, they don't have any special power, but still you will be using knives, guns, and such small weapons for killing zombies.

There is a minor problem with playing on line it is the lack of communication, you have few preset macros like "help!.." Or "here! over here!" and" no! help!" Not good enough to deliver what you have in your mind, or your message. It is frustrating at times, but you will eventually get used to it.

There is a story mode, before each mission you can choose one of the main characters to play as, and one good thing that you can pick some A.I controlled people to help you out. From the start of the game you can pick any of the four levels, there is some new areas, like the police department and the zoo.

Another improvements, this time you have Variety of zombies, instead of just humans, the virus has affected animals, hyenas, and big elephants.

The game itself plays almost like the first one, but that is not a bad thing , you will be walking around picking healing items, looking for weapons, and finding some clues that will help you escaping this mess.

Graphically resident evil OF2 did a great job, the characters looks realistic, the environments are well detailed, and an excellent use of the lighting effects, and zombies looks like dead people...wait a second they are dead! good job with graphic.

The re-play value is so high, thanks to the on line game-play, even if you are not playing on line you can always try to beat the four levels with different characters combinations.

Resident evil outbreak file 2 is a great game, with improved game-play, excellent graphics, new zombies to kill, harder puzzles ,larger levels, and the on line game-play, I highly recommend this game to anyone who liked the first one, or even just a fan of the survival horror genre.
