Medal of Honor: European Assault

"Didn't live up"

I played this game in the playstation 2 format. After playing Frontline and Allied Assault, I really thought that this game was going to be awesome. I only rented this game because like many first person shooter games, they are too short. This was even shorter than I expected. This game only has 11 levels, where Iwould have settled with 20. Even though this game is at least worth a rent.

Gameplay 4/10-The AI in this game really fell short. Your allies will never even try to help you take out enemies,and your squad controls really couldn't add up. There were lots of other games that had lots of better squad controls and online play. Iwould have also liked to see a lot more replay value.

Controls 9/10-The controls for ea were pretty easy to get used to. The only problem was only having two buttons to control your squad with kinda hurt it.

Sound 10/10

Sound in medal of honor games have always been perfect. The music was really inspiring and the sound effects were as realistic as they will ever get in a video game. This department was the best score that this game will take. The voice effects were also really good in this game. The russians sounded russian, the brits sounded british, and the germans sounded german.

Graphics 5/10-There were numerous invisible walls that I encountered and when people talked, you didn't always see their mouths moving. It still beat out other moh games in this department though.

Overall 7/10-Even though this game had some bad spots, it still got a decent score because of sound and controls. I hope to see more games like allied assault and less games like this.This game also has little replay value. Good online play would have made this game a lot better.

Buy/rent-rent-Like many other medal of honor games, this had little replay value. You should buy this game only if you are a die hard medal of honor fan,unlike me. But if you are not, I do not recommend buying this game. A rent should be enough.
