Batman Begins

"I've yet to play a superhero game that is awesome!"

Batman Begins was a very fun game, but there were a few things that were wrong with it. But there were lots of things that were good about it. But mainly, it was a good game!

Graphics 9/10

The graphics in this game are very good! Some of the best I have ever seen. The buildings and the city are very detailed and the faces actually looked like faces! The mouths moved appropriatley, meaning the tongues actually moved up and down and out when they were supposed to. The only thing I didn't like, was the fact that Batman's costume was silver, not black! But only a minor pitfall!

Sound 4/10

The sound in this game was pretty awful. I mean, there wasn't much background music, and the punching noises were all the same. But the voices were the good things about the sound, because it wasn't the same person doing all the voices! (Or if it was, they did an amazing job making voices sound different!)

Conversion 6/10

The game is pretty different from the movie but they did take out some of the parts that didn't need to be in a game. There were no long speeches but I think that they shouldn't have put in movie clips. They didn't really flow in very well. I think that they should have made FMV's like they do in RPG's or at least just animated those parts, it would have been lots better!

Combat 5/10

The combat is VERY basic and it is too easy personally. I mean, you can only use items during combat when you are near an enemy and you can only use your combo moves when it is a good time. And you don't even have the challenge of quick fingers where you scroll through menu's. I like that kind of feature. But you only press O and that is it for the combo movies. But I like the fact that both of your attacks are physical, not like spiderman where it is punches and web!

Game Type 2/10

Batman should have been a BIG action or at least adventure game, but what did the creators do? They made it a puzzle game! It may not seem like it, but if you open doors at wrong times, fire scorches you, or if you open a certain door, another door opens and some thug starts shooting at you and you lose! And if you do not duck under some windows or you dont juump above some windows you die. And I hated it when you had to do something strage like shimmy across a pipe, use the batamerang and then grab someone form the cieling to kill them, it got annoying! Bad game type pick!

Difficulty 8/10

It wasn't easy the first run through because you have to do many things in a certain way and it was sometimes not that easy to think of the right thing t do. But once I tried it a second time, the difficulty went down to a 3 or 4.

Replay 6/10

The game does not have that good replay because it is boring doing all the same things over again, and not gaining levels or even getting weapons that increase power. There is no real optional parts, and there are no secrets but it is fun sometimes to do combat so that is why it gets a 6.

So I do advise that you rent this game because it only takes about 4-5 hours to beat, and you will get annoyed easily with this game!
