"The Fall of Humanity"

This unique game is based on sci-fi and takes place in the 50's.

Story-8.5

Destroy All Humans is game about an alien race trying to survive. Their only hope of survival is taking the DNA of humans. So they send you, Crypto-137, to deal with the puny humans. The Furon race(the aliens) has superb mental capabilities and high-tech weaponry,(think Psi-ops and Mars Attack). As I said before, this game takes place in the 50's, a time of paranoia and fear. Enemies from cops to special agents trained to take you down stand in your way. You must undermine the human civilization.

Gameplay-9.0

This game has whole bunch fun things to do. There are things from stealth to all out melees in the streets. You have a spaceship in which travel. You also have an assortment of powers and weapons at your disposal(I wont say here, its better if you found out yourself). The game uses the Havok engine,(rag doll physics), which makes it very amusing to blow up people ,cars and other things. You can free roam, but, it's not a GTA style free roam. There are 6 places in which to run around. You can do whatever you want until you decide to complete the mission.

Sound- 9.0

The sound is very well suited for this game, as is the music. The quotes that some of the people say are quite amusing. There are a lot of references to other things outside of the game world.

Control-8.0

The controls of this game can be a bit clunky at first, but as you progress they become easier to handle. It shouldn't be too hard for people to use.

Graphics-8.25

The graphics are pretty good. The gun blasts and mental power graphics are really well done. However, the pedestrians could use a little more variety. They're repeated over and over( like someone cloned a couple of people and isolated them).

Replay-8

Once you beat a level you can go run around until you have enough DNA to get the next mission. This is why it differs from the GTA style free roam. The free roam takes place only in the level you're currently in, until you move on.

Rent/Buy

I would say buy. However if you hate sci-fi but like blowing stuff up rent. Fans of sci-fi movies, books, and games should buy this game. Otherwise rent it and see what you think.
