NCAA Football 06

"And the Heisman Recipiant is....."

I will give it to EA Sports, they are going above and beyond on Sports games. It is a huge improvement from the NCAA 2005 addition, due to its new Dynasty mode, the recruitment from high schools to colleges, and of course, the highly publicized Heisman Race.

Game play: The way this game is displayed is 10x better than the 2005 version of NCAA. The race for the Heisman is a great eye catcher because it actually starts out from High School. Not many games just start off with the bottom and work your way to the top, so for that I give that major stars.

Graphics
The graphics in the game has also improved, as well as new styles of taunting and talking trash. I love a good game where things do not repeat every other second. The characters look more realistic than I thought it would look. Then again I heard that EA Sports might put this game on playstaytion 1, so you know its going back to the block format LOL

Controller Functions
The only point which makes the game difficult is the new controller function. Maybe its me being used to hitting R1 and L1 to juke and make competitors dive for grass, but now using the R3 button takes a lot of work. Its more so that I gotta release a button that would help me more just to juke or anything when it comes to using that R3 button. Also its harder that if you stiff arm, the person with the ball may fumble easier than if the person spun and got hit.

Sounds
The EA Tracks have done it again! Some songs just make you want to stop what you are doing and listen to the music. The band and the crowd are always pumping, and it seems so realistic, well except for hearing the fight song and some other school song every 1st down, interception, or touchdown, but its pretty close.

Overall:
First things first: EA Sports I salute you on an outstanding job on this game. Honestly I thought its jus gonna be another version of NCAA 2005, but I am beyond happy to be proved wrong. Other sports games have a lot to go up against when it comes to this college game, and oh yeah if you think NCAA 2006 is good, I know that Madden will be even better!
