"One Word to Describe This Game: Addicting"

I don't play too much if not any sports games because of the fact that I can't learn them easily. Well, the experience with this game was the opposite of what I expected from your average sports game.

Gameplay: 10/10
This game is easy to learn. the controls are simple and once you get the hang of the game, it'll be hard to let go of the control. The Gamebreaker is amazing. You could pass the ball during Gamebreaker to your teammate and score even more trick points. Also, there is something called a "Trick Stick" where you can do different tricks while pressing the trick button and pointing the Right Analog stick in a direction. You could also create you're own players and courts with tons of possibilities.

Graphics: 10/10
The graphics are pretty eye-catching. The players, attires, and environments are well detailed and run smoothly.

Sound: 2/10
The songs could get pretty repetitive and the commentator could get pretty annoying after a while. Well, this could just be me because I'm not a real fan of rap and the urban kind of thing but if you enjoy rap, you'll love the track.

Game Modes: 10/10
Now this is some great stuff. There is your normal exhibition mode where you can challenge a friend or computer, dunk contest where you can challenge your friends or computer to see how well you can dunk, and there's the main and the best game mode, Street Challenge. So it's basically a story mode. You create your own character and home court and you pick 2 teammates. You start off as an indie baller and you work your way to the top by participating in tournaments and playing against other teams in a 3-on-3 match. The rules on the regular 3-on-3 matches can range from your typical street ball match to dunk only matches.

Replay Value: 10/10
The replay value is pretty high. You'll be playing this game for a long, long time because you will want to unlock everything and such. Overall, you'll probably be playing this game for day's possibly even months after you buy it. You might even take your PS2 out of storage 10 years from now and pop this game in.

Rent or Buy?
Buy it definitely. It's worth the money trust me.

Overall: 8/10
Even for a not so big sports fan like me, it's definitely worth it to pick this game up.
