"Jak finally gets a game about racing!"

Ok I just got this game on Friday! Yay! I'm so far in the Blue Eco Cup and I'm pretty good. Oh and I rented it so read this before you buy this. I know I'm!

Graphics: 10/10

For Naughty Dog this is probably always a ten out of ten. The background (the sky mostly) is very colorful and the vehicles have a wide choice of how they can look. I have no complaints about this.

Gameplay: 10/10

Like all racers, this game is the same: It will never end. There are tons of game modes to play both racetrack and stadium battles. Plus there is online if you get bored and all of the Single Player modes are in Multiplayer. meaning you can play up to six players online and 2 off. But you can't have Dial-Up for online. Still, it's getting a ten.

Controls: 8/10

Well this is the only eight you'll see here. Very good for Naughty Dog. There is, however, a very bad thing with the physics of the game. Sometimes you'll find yourself Power Sliding around a corner and instead you do a 180 and turning yourself around.

You might be in the Sewers of Haven City, and go up a wall and you'll end up rolling over and getting on your roof. Although with enough practice you can avoid this, but that will take bunches of time.

Sound: 9/10

The soundtrack songs Naughty dog picked it great. When a explosion occurs you will hear it, and sliding around a car makes the tires screech. Listen to the roaring of the engine! The reason I gave it a 9 is because there isn't much of a soundtrack and you'll find yourself listening to the same song it the same race. Also all of the songs during the game have no words what so ever. It is instrumental music only.

Story: 9/10

Comparing to the trilogy, this could have been better and longer. The story was very excellent but when you were trying to improve in story mode, it would already be over. It is very easy to progress because if you get most golds and a few silvers then you will go on in the story. Short story but sweet one at that.

Overall: This game is a great one of Naughty Dog. They have had made a kart racer game before. Remember Crash Team Racing? Crash was great and Jak is no different.

Buy or Rent:

This is my review so it's just my opinion. I would recommend renting it and buying it so you know if you want it or not. If you want to buy it because you are a collector of the series, wait for the price to go down to buy it.

Pros:
-Tons of game modes
-Lots of secrets to buy with Precursor Orbs.
-Customize cars how you want them
-Sweet story

Cons:
-Game Physics are hard to control.
-Short Story mode
-Having to play all Jak and Daxter games and Ratchet: Deadlocked to get the secrets.
