"Could have been better"

Honestly when I first heard of both the comic and the game I thought it would be original and ground breaking. Especially when I tried to rent it at blockbuster the day they had it in and all the systems copies were rented out. Finally I've played it and I was somewhat disappointed there was a couple of goods couple bads.

Graphics: 7 just because for a newer game it didn't have anything new to set it really . To explain what I mean is this the graphics didn't seem like that of a new game where the graphics are breath taking and unique. They just seemed bland to me.Almost seemed like graphics for the first games to come out for ps2 to me but thats just my opinion ( so for the people that love this game sorry no offense about what I'm saying or going to say)

Controls: A 9 just because of how simple they are one button to attack, one to block one to jump one to do specials simple right and for this game I don't mind it.

Game play: ( This is where I have to say it falls ) I'd give it a 3. Game play was easy to me.You basically do the same missions over and over and over in story mode. At first yes it's kinda fun but then after my third character it bored me. A lot of the characters their isn't really anything to original about them IMHO. The only people I really enjoyed using was Wolverine,Spider Man,Venom,Johnny Ohm, Paragon and The Wink. Those characters where interesting to me. Other then that all the fliers feel the same all the other hand to hand fighters felt the same. Some of the finishers are good but not something to be in complete shock over. Before the game came out I would have swore it would have been this ground breaking game but it really wasn't . Yes you can destroy alot of your surrounding but after seeing the same 7 or 8 stages it's boring ( Try going through almost a dozen character seeing the same stages and knowing what you can and can't truly destroy.) The challenge of it isn't really there for me at all and like stated before if you like or love this game more power to you I respect you for that but I don't really find it as fun as I would have thought it to be.

Replay ability- 2. Yes a two because if you actually play through every persons missions ( there's only 5 or 6 for each character) then finish them off you unlock everything . Unless you finished off a character to get another person and didn't play much of their missions then replay the story mode but other then that no point you get a pictures stats and comics plus the extra characters but not much else to it so sorry people i just can't say much for it

This is my first review I've ever done I wish I could have gave it a high review really do but in my opinion it wasn't that great of a game but like I stated people if you love this game more power to you just don't bash me for my review please.
