Neopets: The Darkest Faerie

For a kid, this game would be awsome, and challenging. For an Adult, this game is OKEY and boring. But I would think mostly kids buy this game, so Instead of an Adult giving it a 6, I stuck with a kid reveiw and game it a 8.

No replay value, but It is a long game that should take you a while to beat if you are a kid. Besides, it's $40, and that's a deal for a game that takes a long game!

The Graphics are early PS2ish, but the Neopets universe is cartoony, so I guess they needed to make it no-so-detailed. Although, when you step into water that you can't swim in, it is an instant game over. It's hard to tell the difference between shallow water and deep water. The cut scenes look like they just got them from the late PS1 store, but you get use to them eventually. There are very very few gliches, but there isn't a big change you will run through a whole lot of them.

The Plot at first seems like the adverage plot (Bad guy takes over and good guy has to stop bad guy.) But with lots of twists and turns, the plot in more in deph than your adverage plot.

The Camera is Okey, but it's good for that type of game. You have almost full control over it, but sometimes it gets stuck in walls, and rarely causes a glich. (Note RARELY)

Gameplay is great, exept for some of the fighting. The fighting system with motes and petpets is awsome, but the enemys always come in big numbers, and they are really tough. At first they were fun and not hard to beat, but when the Darkest Faerie's infuence spreads, they come in massive numbers and they are hard to beat. I would advise running away, but that's just me. Besides that, the exporing, mini games, and all that are great.

This is a really fun game, and if you don't beleive me, why don't you rent it and try it out?
