"Not-so-Viewtiful Joe 2"

This installment of Viewtiful Family, sucks the BIG ONE! I found it to be sloppily put together, like a bowel movement after eating McDonalds.

The story-line: 3/10- is the same as the first Viewtiful Joe, with the old bosses that you previously defeated coming back to fight you again. Can someone say, "already been done"? Try something new for a change. Geez. I'm a big fan of Viewtiful Joe, and if they can't think of anything new, I'm out. The so-called plot twist in the story, were Joe and Silvia get their powers back in the end, really doesn't give you that feeling of excitment I was looking for.

The music: 6/10- Now for the music, wait a second what music? You mean the backround noise you hear while playing? Come on... Viewtiful Joe needs better music than that. But, the sound effects are awesome though. Every explosion, punch, kick, and gun-shot are completely awe inspiring. You get the feeling that you're there. Really. The music though... needs a whole lot more work.

The replay value: 4/10- Nothing, or almost nothing. No unlockable characters, to make the game more enjoyable. In the first game, you can unlock silvia, Alastor, and Captain Blue but in VJ2 nothing. The poor 'Chambers' You really need to be bored to play those. 'Defeat the enemy' over and over and over again, I mean COME ON! Spice it up a little.

The Amount of Fun: I'd say about a 9/10- On to the fun. Well this is one good thing for those at Capcom, the game is fun. The moves are easy to pull off, stylish as usual and just out-right awesome. The levels are long, maybe too long :( and Silvia... don't even get me started! Her attacks suck! Take Replay for instance, you hold down the Slow button for almost two times the damage, then the Replay button for three times the damage, you run up to the baddie and WHAM! you get hit! Since you held the Replay button during your onslught and you were hit YOU get Three Times the normal damage! Some one say, "OW!" Anyway... the action with Joe rocks. He is the man for attacking anything. He has Mach speed unlike Silvia, (another check in the don't like column), so he can punchpunchpunch super fast and super strong. Even though Silvia stinks the game is still fun!

Final word: Well if you like movies and videogames try Viewtiful Joe #1 first before you spend your money on this one.
