"Whoa! Neo knows kung fu!"

Knock Knock Neo...

Are you a fan of The Matrix?....

Did you enjoy Enter The Matrix?...

If you answered yes to both of those questions then you will surely enjoy this game. And you have to admit, there is nothing cooler than playing as "The One". I mean really, what can be cooler than that? A gigantic improvement from Enter The Matrix, this installment in the series will really knock you down and make you say........whoa!

The Wachowski brothers (please excuse me if I mispelled that) Have written and directed this entire game. And the coolest thing is they have written a completely different ending. Now that thats said I can delve right into the story. Obviously stating from the title you follow the "path of Neo". The One! Your path consists of every major event that spanned the entire Matrix series. So what im trying to say is you can play all the cool events so you can fill Neo's shoes and kick some butt! There are sweet movie clips to fill you in and catch you up. Other that the "new" ending written for this game you must be saying to yourself the story you play through can't be to interesting when you could just watch the movie. Well since you play the major events from the movie, there are a lot of changes (not to dramatic) to the story. I shouldn't even use the word "changes"...more like surprises. And like I said previous...what could be better that playing as one of the coolest characters ever?!

Now since you play as The One, you want to move like The One. So now you must be wondering to yourself...Neo+game=lots of complicated controls! Well to be honest the controls are very very simple. For all the movements you can perform and things you can do in this game that are at you disposal I'd say the learning curve for these controls would probably range within an hour of playing. And in playing this game you will come to realize and agree that the controls couldn't have been better any other way, otherwise they would become very awkward.

I was very surprised to find the camera pretty convenient as well. The camera gets a bit funny at times but it's very much tolerable because it works with you and what you do in the game. It just gets funny in those enclosed spaces, darn enclosed spaces. A very little problem though.

Sounds, music, ambiance, sound effects, all authentic Matrix sounds. Theres nothing like hearing the sound of Neo swinging a pole at speeds of 200 MPH cracking 10 agent smiths per second. It's pretty cool to at some points when things heat up you hear the Matrix score kick in to heat things up even more. Man it's about to melt in here!

This game packs it all. Yes you can do most of the really cool things Neo does in the movies which makes the gameplay very fun. The gameplay is very progressive, you pick up on things as you go along as well as learn a few things along the way as well. The battles are almost legendary and very smooth! There are a ton of things to unlock and I say any game with multiple difficulty levels and a level select has outstanding replay value!

There is a ton of eye candy in this game. The graphics are very nice and dead on for a title like this. The martial arts moves are dead on as well, like when Neo runs up a guy and in slow motion kicks him in the face...his foot connects with the guys face perfectly. The mechanics are very accurate. You'll get the occasional punching or kicking the guy thats 3 feet away and actually hitting him bit but thats okay.

Like the questions I asked much earlier, fans of the series this is a must buy...NO RENT! unless you feel better with that. I think you will not be disappointed. This game is a winner!

Lets face it...

You know you wish you could do all that cool stuff Neo could do.

We all do.

But we have to face it again...we can't!

But hey this games the closest thing to it and the next best thing from the Wachowski brothers so we thank you!

-Happy Gaming!
