Mobile Suit Gundam Seed: Never Ending Tomorrow
Review by Syphe
"An Underrated Game"
This is a truly underrate game. Although not one of the best due to its many flaws, it's still a great game. I'll just split this into categories like I normally would do:
Graphics: 7
Though the ground is a little bit dull, who even bothers about looking at the floor? The mobile suits are greatly detailed, although there are no burnt marks. It looks like an action figure in CG. There are anime cut-scenes, and CG revision of the shows, although I sometimes like the show better.
Sound: 6
I like the voice acting of the main characters, but Lowe Guele(Gear in the manga) and his friends, including a few others in the MSV (Mobile Suit Variation) don't sound right. Still, without the original Japanese voice acting, it's not as fun since you should already know the whole story. The music...! Everything from the series have been replaced with the BGM in the UC games! Take away great music and replace it with horrible, repetitive, BGM. Best if I can import the game.
Controls: 9
If you liked Encounter in Space(EiS), you should like this one. The shooting, multi lock, boosting, dodging, all the same. Except for the melee combat. I don't see what's so hard about it other than you being confused if you keep turning your screen and get a little lost. Other than that, it's not so hard, in fact, I like it. It's more realistic too.
Gameplay: 6
Similar to EiS. Too similar, that the only main difference is having more MSV missions and the new melee system. Most of the other options are not in this game though. If only I can create a Zaft soldier to kill Kira with...
Content: 7
All Gundam fans should try Encounter in Space first. If you like it, this one's almost the same, except then you would consider this game a ripped off version of EiS. If you don't like EiS, it's don't touch this at all(how can you hate EiS?).
