Introduction: Oh snap another spider-man game for Stan Lee, well this one is different because you get to play as the young spider man or the Evil Venom. Anyways lets get to the reviewing shall we?...

Graphics: 8,5/10

Graphics I like how they did the comic book styled world, but that's the problem some people hate comic book styled worlds so if you do and you play games because of graphics this one isn't for you. But they should have made it into the world like the cartoon.

Sound: 7/10

Good old Spider man always having to say some sarcasm in anything that comes up. I didn't like the Peter's voice I like Toby's voice as Spiderman better. You get to hear a lot of web slinging because that's all you do, but hey its Spider man how many other characters in marvel gets to be a spider. Venom's you only get to hear his growl until the end.

Controls: 9.5/10

The controls were all good but I had a hard time swinging the web in the direction I wanted it to go. And I wish that you go from hand to hand not shoot web, jump and shoot another web.

Game play: 9/10

Game play ok well it's all based off of Spider man 2 nothing has changed except for the world of this game is small and you get some special appearances from the other marvel characters even though they should be watching over their part of New York. Oh like I said you can play as venom too but it isn't which character you want to be because their story line is in the same one together not separate. Until you beat the game that's when you get to play as venom when you want too but playing him is boring well fun for 1 hour then its back to spider man you go. The RPG styled game play is gone so is the impact web, you can hang the enemies on to a pole but they don't get any damage I wanted to hang them up so make it like the real spider man but if you hang him up and punch him he just falls back down…you can get different costumes for you character but that takes forever. Back to venom when you play as him you have to eat all the people just to survive backs you feel like that vampire guy morblus or something like that. You can beat up them too and throw cars 100 feet into the air but when you do this you end up fighting the law, then the vigilantes. But doing this kills out so your running most of the time. I really liked looking for the special locations.

Story: 4.5/10

Ok the story is right after the ultimate Spiderman comic book where you just defeated venom and your living on with your normal super hero self and then BANG all breaks loose venom is back and ready to kill again so you have to fight him as well as be him.
But one warning THIS GAME WAS BEATING AS SOON AS I STARTED IT.

Replay value: 2/10

I didn't find any replay value after beating this game because I didn't feel like playing the story all over only thing that was fun after beating it was looking for the tokens to unlock the suits.

Rent it or buy it?

I would rent this game because it only takes a day to beat.

Pros: the comic book world
The unlockable costumes.
Playing as venom

Cons: wasn't fun playing as venom after storyline
Only for true Spiderman fans
