Call of Duty, three words...best WWII game.
I wanted to play a FPS that would excite me and make me think of strategies that would help me survive; Call of Duty answered my prays. A game where I had to run to for cover or else I would would be gunned down by that machine gunner or all of those German snipers that had the high ground and help my comrades go in and take control of the bunker so our men could advance. The thing I liked about this game was that it didn't focus on one part of the 2nd WW, but it let you play the eastern front as Russians, the invasion of north Africa as Britans, and into the heartland as Americans. Personally American was my favorite.
The action in this game is awesome, from slamming open doors to shoot surprised Germans to shooting rockets at a group of advancing tanks. The controls on this game are easy to grab onto and the accuracy is great so you'd be ready to gun down a room full of enemies. The explosions sounding of next to my character's head sounds perfect and these graphics are great for this war game. If people thought guns from like 60 years ago sucked they were dead wrong! Call of Duty includes all of the guns from WWII such as the PPSH, M1 Grand, Scoped Mosion Nagant, BAR, Sten, MG42, Thompson, M3A1, DPM, and the M2 Fragment and not only not the German guns are just as good: Geweher 43, MP40, and of course the Panzershreck rocket launcher. One of my favorite things is to drive them tanks and explode enemy tanks. BOOM ha ha!!
I always felt like I could walk into any room with my buddies by my side, but sometimes I felt like I wanted to scream and curse at my TV because these guys are pretty stupid. Also I felt like there could've been a couple more missions for the British part of the game. The problems are minor, so if want a game were you have to fight to stop an evil in this world (coff, coff Germans) and has fast paced action I fully recommend Call of Duty.
