Destroy All Humans!

"Destroy all humans! and have lots of fun....."

Destroy all humans is an exellent game, i recently bought it used and have enjoyed it a lot. basically, the game storyline is that you play as an alien called crypto, who belongs to an alien race called the furons. you are a clone (the 137th to be exact!) to try and wipe out the human race to make way for the furon empire and to, as the title says, DESTROY ALL HUMANS.

GRAPHICS: 8/10
The graphics are exellent, when you fly over a busy city, teeming with human scum, there are no glitches or framerate slowdowns whatsoever. The character models are great, and have a comicly cartoony look to them. The reason I have given it an 8 is that some of the textures when seen up close are rather shabby, but, even if you are a graphics whore, you will have no problems with this game.

SOUND: 9/10
The sound in this game, is great, there are many funny comments, and the humans are incredibly dumb which makes it even more satisfying when you barbeque them with your zap-o-matic. The game has a typical 50's B-Movie alien soundtrack to it, which make's it all the more atmospheric while you rampage around the happy little town of Santa Modesta.

STORY: 7/10
To be honest, there is not really much of a story to this game, you are Cryptospordium 137 and you are sent down to earth via a furon mothership, given orders by your supirior Pox to wipe out the human race in the name of the Furon empire, and thats about it really!

LIFESPAN: 7/10
While this game is very fun to start off with, it can get very repetitive, in your early moments of anal probing farmers, and disguising yourself as the mayor to cause disruption and chaos, you will enjoy the game a lot, but after a while, it really does get a bit boring, I recommend you to only play this game in short bursts, otherwise you will get tired of it very rapidly. The game is also quite short, so if your good at games, be prepared for a 8-10 hour sitting.

GAMEPLAY: 9/10
All in all, Destroy all humans is really fun and definetly worth your cash, like I said, play in short bursts, and this will be the most enjoyable game you have played this year, after all, everyone wants to be an alien right?
You'l be zapping poor innocent humans with a crazy array of alien weaponry, and blowing up the white house with your scorching death ray, taking on the police,army, angry farmers and the hired agents who have dealt with your kind before. Destroy all humans is incredibaly fun and as I did, you,ll love it too!

RENT OR BUY?
BUY, (You wont regret it!) Some people wil complain about its length but to be honest, does that really matter when it's a game that lets you roam free around large cities at your own pace, blowing up peoples heads and collecting thier brain stems and throwing exploding cows into german scientists. I wrote this review to tell people how good this game was, and I hope you take these words seriously: BUY THIS GAME, it,s way cool
