[A000] First Mission
==============================================================================
Grand Theft Auto 4 does a very good job of establishing and atmosphere and
introducing you to the basic gameplay mechanics right from the get-go. After
the initial scene you'll be tasked with driving Roman back to his apartment.
The controls are fairly intuitive, R trigger to accelerate, L trigger to brake
or reverse, RB or A to handbrake, and the X button to toggle your high beams.
Unlike the previous installments they actually paint a direct route on your
minimap which helps when freeway on-ramps and varying altitudes of different
areas can make getting from point A to point B a little more complicated than
a straight line. Nevertheless, it's no difficult at all to find your way to
Roman's place with all the tips you are given.
One quick thing to note is that while you are driving, your passengers on a
mission will often talk to you, and if you arrive at your destination too
quickly you might interrupt the conversation. This won't ever hinder your
progress or affect the game, but you might miss out on some of the more
interesting dialogue.
When you arrive at the apartment, use the bed to save your game (Y button).
The autosave feature of GTA4 is on by default and will activate after the
completion of every mission, so you don't have the worry about returning and
saving too often. The autosave uses a separate slot from your manual saves.
Don't leave before checking out what's on TV.
There are three ways to get to your first mission (the R icon on your
minimap). You can walk, you can go by car, or you can go by taxi. To hijack
a car simply run up to it and press Y. To ride in a taxi, hail it down with
the LB button and get in by holding Y, rather than tapping it. Your can
select your destination and wait, or skip there directly. This will far more
useful later in the game when you can actually afford it, and your
destinations are much further away. For now, just walk or drive.

==============================================================================
[B000] Roman's Missions
==============================================================================
It's Your Call [B001]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your first mission has you keeping watch for the Albanian loan sharks Roman
owes money too. He tells you to keep a sharp eye out for them, however Niko
will automatically announce when the two have arrived. When they do, press up
on the D-pad and loop up Roman's number in the phone book. Give him a call as
the Albanians are approaching the door.
Before long Roman will bolt out the back door and jump into your car. Now
you've got to lose the Albanians and make it back to his cab business. Losing
them is not difficult at all, and your minimap will show you the route to
drive. You can follow the road laid out on your map if you wish, or take your
own path, it makes no difference as long as you get back there in tact.
As you start driving off, you'll receive a text message from Roman calling you
back to the cab place for your next mission. On your way there, look for a
little person-shaped icon on your map just outside your destination. Approach
this guy for a scene, and a quick $100. He is the first of many random
characters you will find in this game roaming he streets that you can interact
with.
Three's a Crowd [B002]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drive over to the subway to pick up the girls. You can attract their
attention by honking your horn (left thumbstick pressed). After dropping them
off at their destination, Roman will tell you to go and try some new clothes.
The clothing store icon appears on your map. Go there and buy anything you
want, then leave the store to complete your mission.
You'll soon get a call from Michelle to go out on a date. You can go out with
her if you want, but you're about to get a call from Roman, and he sounds a
lot more desperate for your company than she does. Michelle can wait; Roman
can't. Let's head back to his garage.
Bleed Out [B003]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When you arrive at Roman's location (the blue dot on your minimap), you'll
find him on the basketball court. There are two guys wailing on him while he
rolls around on the ground, so hold the L trigger to auto-target and start
pounding the shit out of the first guy. The best way to do this is to wait
until he attacks, then quickly press the A button to dodge, followed by the Y
button for a strong counterattack. After dispatching the first two thugs,
you'll have to jump in your car and chase the last one.
Follow him all the way to a warehouse and then get out of your car. Climb the
stairs near the front entrance to find him on the roof. Use the same tactic
you used to beat up the thugs, to disarm this guy, then stab him a few times
with the B button, and when he's reeling near the window, a good solid kick
will send him right through it. Now head back to the car and drive back to
Roman's place.
If you've got nothing else going on, now is be a great time to go and visit
Michelle for your first date.
First Date [B004]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After picking up Michelle, head to the carnival icon on your map.
Unfortunately the carnival isn't operating anymore, but fortunately there's a
bowling alley on the boardwalk (get out of the car and walk there, it's
nearby). Speak to the guy at the desk and walk up to a lane to begin the
game.
The bowling controls are fairly simple, just hit A when you're in the position
you want, and shoot with the right analog stick. Say you want to throw a fast
shot slightly to the left; tap back on the right analog and then quickly hold
diagonally a little to the left. For a slow shot, tap down on the stick and
wait before you tap up.
After the game, simply drive her back home for a successful first date.
Easy Fare [B005]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jump in the cab and go pick up the guy Roman told you to. Your destination is
an alleyway in another part of the city. Once you arrive there you'll
automatically be given a police wanted level and told to lose it. All you
have to do is drive out of the flashing circle on your minimap and avoid
drawing any unwanted attention until the wanted level disappears. Once it
has, simply drive your fare to his destination.
At this point Vlad will give you a call and his icon will appear on the radar.
Jamaican Heat [B006]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drive down to the location on your minimap and pick up Little Jacob. He'll
get out of the car when you get to your next destination. Go up to the target
marker and press the left analog stick down to crouch (make sure the pistol he
gave you is equipped, you can cycle between weapons with the D-pad).
When the guys appear, just target them like you did for melee combat and start
shooting like mad. You should be able to pick them off before they get more
than a couple of shots in you. The red notches in your target icon indicate
how much health they have left. After the dust settles all you need to do is
go and drop off Little Jacob at the cafe.
Roman's icon is gone from the map for the time being, so let's go check out
the kind of work Vlad has to offer (although on your way to him you'll more
than likely be offered more work by both Roman and Little Jacob). Continue
from here or check out Vlad (or Little Jacob's) section of the guide.
Uncle Vlad [B007]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Prerequisite: Complete all of Vlad's missions.
Head over to the bar where Vlad is drinking. After the scene, kill the two
men in front of you and then run out the back door. Grab your car and tail
Vlad until he eventually crashes his car. After another scene all you have to
do is walk up to him, target, and shoot.
Crime and Punishment [B008]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Right after you have control of your character and the mission begins a cop
car will come down the street and stop at a neighboring house. When the cop
gets out of the car, you can hop right in. In police cars the horn button
(pressing the left thumbstick) acts as a siren rather than a horn. Turn on
the siren and pull up behind each of the vans one at a time. Eventually one
of them will be a the correct one, when you do find it, get ready to dodge
some bullets and jump inside.
Drive around until you lose your wanted level and then take the van back to
the lockup to complete the mission.
Logging On [B009]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Prerequisite: Complete Faustin & Dmitri's mission "Final Destination".
It's finally time you learn how to use the internet, so drive over and enter
the TW@. After speaking to the lady at the counter sit down at any computer
and access your email with the icon at the upper right corner. Click on the
only email you have and reply to it. That's all you're required to do in here
for now.
Leave the cafe and answer Roman's call, then after he's done wait, and answer
his next call. Now go back into the cafe and check your email again. Reply
to Brucie's email and then start heading to your destination. Across the big
bridge there's a toll booth you may want to watch out for (paying the fee
might be easier than outrunning the cops, not that the latter is very
difficult). Knock the guy off the dirt bike and bring it back to Brucie's
place. You'll get 1000 bucks minus any damage the bike takes.

==============================================================================
[C000] Vlad's Missions
==============================================================================
Bull in a China Shop [C001]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You don't need the bat at all. Drive to the location (or hail a cab and ride
there automatically). When he won't let you into the shop all you need to do
is run to the green icon on your map and press Lb to pick up one of the
bricks. Run back to the shop and hold the left trigger to auto-target a window
and the right trigger to throw. When he pays up, return to Vlad and give him
the money.
Hung Out to Dry [C002]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Head for the laundromat on your radar. When you get there the guy takes off
in a van. Run out into the back and hotwire one of the parked cars ( keep
tapping the triggers to hotwire the car faster). All you have to do is slam
into his van a few times with your car and the mission will automatically be
completed.
Clean Getaway [C003]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After speaking with Vlad, the subway station is very close by. Run isnide and
go up the stairs. You can get on the subway by pressing Y and skip to your
destination with the A button (or just sit back and enjoy the ride).
When you get there, approach the guy near the car and lock onto him. When
you're close enough you can punch him out since you aren't already in combat.
After giving his buddy a beating, take the car and wait for Vlad to tell you
that he wants it cleaned. Your destination will move to the nearest car wash.
After getting it all cleaned up drive the car back to Vlad's place.
Note that you can smash up the car as much as you want on the way back, Vlad
won't care now and the mission still completes, but you'll end up with an
angry phone call later.
Ivan the Not so Terrible [C004]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Grab yourself a car and start driving toward Roman's place. When you get
there Ivan will take off, so follow him as close as you can. Eventually he
will stop at the construction yard where you'll need to climb onto the ladders
(Y button to grab, tap A to climb faster) and chase him across some rooftops.
At the end of the chase you have the choice of either killing Ivan, or letting
him live. There are benefits for letting him live, and the mission is
accomplished either way, so I recommend choosing that option.
______________________________________________________________________________
==============================================================================
[D000] Little Jacob's Missions
==============================================================================
Concrete Jungle [D001]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You'll have to take Little Jacob to pick up some more pot, but when everything
goes wrong (go figure) just drive over the escaping drug dealers to take care
of this part of the mission. The rest of the mission introduces you to the
cover system (RB to press up against something, and L trigger to target).
Waste all the druggies in the house and take Little Jacob back to the cafe.
He'll throw 200 your way.
Shadow [D002]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I recommend hopping into a cab for this trip to save time (remember LB to hail
it, hold Y to get in). After a scene the dealer will begin walking Follow
him as inconspicuously as possible, but before you know it Roman will ring you
up asking to shoot some pool and it'll scare the dealer into running. Follow
him all the way into the apartment without killing him (remember an up arrow
on his icon means he's above you, keep this in mind). When you get to the top
blow the lock off with your gun and take cover to kill all the dealers.
Finish the job and pick up your reward off the ground.
______________________________________________________________________________
==============================================================================
[E000] Faustin & Dmitri's Missions
==============================================================================
Do You Have Protection? [E001]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jump in a car and drive out to the sex shop marked on your map. When you get
downstairs, after the scene you need to auto-target to intimidate and them aim
down and shoot the second guy in the leg. That's all there is to do here, now
head over to the underground weapons depot in the alley. The Micro-SMG that
you need to buy is on the tables on your right (don't worry about the price,
this one's on Mr. Faustin). Now drive back to Faustin's house to complete the
mission.
Final Destination [E002]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drive to the destination marker on your map and look around for a staircase
leading up to a station platform. You'll find two guys here, blast the first
one with your submachine gun and then hop across the tracks after your main
target. He'll jump into a car at the bottom of the stairs and spin around to
drive in the other direction, giving you the perfect opportunity to blow a
dozen holes in his tires.
Unable to drive, you'll be able to get right behind him and use the LB button
to keep popping holes into his car. Once it sets on fire the guy dives out
onto the road, so make his final destination somewhere underneath your car.
600 bucks for completing this one, awarded immediately.
No Love Lost [E003]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When you get to the biker's location he'll take off on his motorcycle and
there'll be one there waiting for you to take off after him. Don't even
bother shooting while you're behind him, you can't change the course of
events. Eventually if you follow him long enough he rest of his posse will
show up. Try and shoot as many of them off their bikes as you can before they
all dismount in the nearby park.
Jump off your bike and move in on foot from a distance, picking off the bikers
one by one to minimize the damage to you. When you've killed the last one
you'll get $600 and your mission is complete.
Rigged to Blow [E004]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Prerequisite: Complete Roman's mission "Logged On".
There's a truck full of explosives waiting for you to pick up. A flashing
light on the back of the truck indicates the relative damage you have taken
and how close the bomb is to exploding (but you won't see it until you take
damage). Fortunately for you the truck is extremely slow so your only real
enemy in this mission is your own impatience.
Make absolutely sure you pay the bridge toll, you definitely don't want the
cops riding your ass here. Once you arrive stay in the truck and hit the
trigger button (LB) and then after the scene just sprint as far as you can
until the mission completes an you get $700. Completing this mission unlocks
Brucie's missions.
The Master and the Molotov [E005]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drive to the club and look for the icon on your radar indicating where the
body armour can be found. Once you have it, equip your best gun and go into
the club. Immediately after the scene get ready to whip it out and start
shooting. There are two guys behind the bar and one near the stage as well.
In the next hall there will be at least one or two waiting for you so proceed
with caution. Faustin has nowhere to escape, so don't worry about trying to
keep up with him.
There are a number of guys in the alley outside the double doors, so open them
slowly and start shooting. Once they are all down race up the stairs quickly
so that Faustin doesn't have much time to fire on you. Once you reach the
top, you can figure out the rest. No reward for this one.
Russian Revolution [E006]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To unlock this mission you may have to call Dmitri yourself. If it's not
happening then it might be because you haven't completed Little Jacob's
missions yet. Once they're all set Dmitri should be ready and Little jacob
should give you a call right afterward.
Make sure you have full health, and even some body armour for this one if you
can. When you get to the warehouse you've got a shootout on your hands. Make
sure you use cover as much as possible because there are a lot of enemies.
When you finally push forward enough the cops'll show up. Run out of the door
quickly and jump into the nearby car. All you have to do now is lose your
wanted level and take LJ back to his cafe.
When all this is done give Roman a call to trigger the next event. Head to
all of the icons that appear on your map, and then finally to the icon far up
to the north. Don't worry about the toll, you'll lose your wanted level
automatically when you arrive at your destination.

==============================================================================
[F000] Brucie's Missions
==============================================================================
Search and Delete [F001]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Prerequisite: Complete Faustin & Dmitri's mission "Rigged to Blow".
Before beginning this mission walk up to any cop car, steal it, and drive it
to Brucie's place to begin the mission and lose your wanted level. When he
tells you to find a cop car, all you gotta do is walk outside. Hack the
computer with the LB button. Do a search for names, just typing in "lyle" is
sufficient. With his location marked on your radar head to his location, and
when he jumps out of the window, get in your car and hunt him down. After
enough bullets into his car and rams from behind, he'll jump out, so just park
on his spine and collect your reward.
Easy as Can Be [F002]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brucie wants you to go and pick up a car for him. When you get there you'll
be ambushed by six guys in three cars. The best way to complete this mission
is to jump out of the car (even though the game tells you to get back in) and
eliminate all the thugs right away. This way the worst you'll have to deal
with is a one star wanted level, which is a lot easier to handle than the
three cars tailing you. With that taken care of, just drive the car back to
Brucie's lockup for 3500 bucks.
Coming Out of the Closet [F003]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Make your way to the nearest internet cafe and log on to one of the computers.
The big love-meet link is on the right side of the default homepage. Navigate
to the male section of the site and look for FrenchTom (make sure to check out
your own dating profile as well). When you're ready, hit the "date" option at
the bottom of his profile.
You have now completed the first part of this mission. You need to go and do
something else while waiting for a reply, so go do another mission in your
spare time and wait for a text message from Roman to go and check the
computer. You should have an email from Tom, make sure you to reply to it.
Now all you have to do is wait until the right time. Head back to a safe
house and sleep if you need to, you won't sleep though the date.
When you arrive at the diner Tom is inside. At any point during the date you
can stand up and waste him, or you can wait for the conversation to play out
and he'll get up automatically. When it's time to get up remember to use the
LB/RB shoulder buttons to stand up, rather than jamming every other button on
the controller like an idiot (i.e. me) as he takes off and you sit there
perfectly still.
Once you've clipped Tom you'll have to shake the fuzz, but I'm sure that ain't
shit to you. You'll pocket 6750 clams for it.
No. 1 [F004]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brucie'll direct you to the location of a Comet, a really fast racing car.
Take this car and line it up behind the rest of the cars a the beginning of
the race. You need to go through each checkpoint without missing a single
one. The best advice I can give for this mission is to gun it on every
straightaway until you see an turn coming up, at which point you should slam
on both the brakes and the handbrake simultaneously without turning to slow
down quickly, then turn while pumping the L trigger brake. It should give you
the most control with the least amount of speed loss. The next best advice is
to simply learn the course better, but it requires multiple attempts at the
mission. Once all is said and done, take Brucie back to his place. The Comet
is yours to keep.
______________________________________________________________________________
==============================================================================
[G000] Manny's Missions
==============================================================================
Escuela of the Streets [G001]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Find yourself a car and drive to the dealer's location. You have to stay a
couple of car lengths behind him as he drives around the city. It takes a few
minutes, but eventually he'll stop at a warehouse and go inside. Since the
door is locked you need to take the stairs in the alley and run across the
boards on top of the warehouse. There's an open skylight up here.
Before dropping down take out your gun and aim manually, you should be able to
pick off at least two of them before you even go down. When you drop, take
cover and eliminate them one by one. After taking out the last guy you need
to shoot the lock off the door to finish the mission, but before you do, you
can replenish your health with the first-aid kit in the office. $1000 for
completing this one.
Street Sweeper [G002]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The first thing you need to do is get a car and run down the three dealers
hanging around the street corner. The easiest way is to just stop near them
and begin firing with your pistol out the window of the car. Once all three
are dead (and not before) then you can start chasing after the guy who escaped
in the car. Keep firing on him as you're chasing him and eventually you'll
either kill him in the car, or he'll jump out and make for an easy target.
To get the next mission, wait for Mallorie to call you and introduce you to
Elizabeta's missions.
The Puerto Rican Connection [G003]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Get yourself a car and head for the Algonquin bridge. When you arrive there
the camera shifts to a train that you have to follow. Stay as close to the
train as possible all the way until it arrives at the station (the game will
notify you when the targets disembark). When this happens, simply run up the
stairs with an uzi in hand and gun down the three targets. Mission
accomplished, easy $1500.
______________________________________________________________________________
==============================================================================
[H000] Elizabeta's Missions
==============================================================================
Luck of the Irish [H001]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Head to the destination marker and go to the top of the building to find a
sniper rifle. You can aim with the right analog stick and zoom with the left
analog stick. When the deal goes sour, start firing like mad. Keep an eye on
Patrick, he'll end up in a hand-to-hand struggle with one of the dealers and
you'll have to pt a bullet in him without hitting Patrick. Once all the guys
are dead (including the second wave that runs from in from the top of the
alley) then your mission is complete and you get 1500 bucks. The sniper rifle
is yours to keep.
Blow Your Cover [H002]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you can find some body armour before this mission, it will really help you
out. Take Playboy X to the location of the deal. Make sure you pick up the
shotgun on the first floor before going up. As usual, the deal goes bad and
you've got to take out a hell of a lot of cops in body armour, so be careful.
Make sure you use cover as much as possible, but you may want to consider
stepping out and manually aiming for headshots to speed things up.
There's a first-aid kit waiting when you get to the roof, but you're only half
way done. There are still plenty of cops to take down on the roof. Head
across to the adjacent roof (watch for the cop that pops out of the stairwell)
and Playboy will tell you to drive him home (making it sound like you're home
free, but there are still more police in the stairwell, and you've already
secured a two star wanted level). Jump in a car and lose the wanted level,
then drive Playboy back to his pad.
Congratulations on unlocking the next big island.
The Snow Storm [H003]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This mission is actually somewhat difficult, so I'd recommend finding yourself
some body armour before you start. Ride to the old abandoned hospital and
bring the biggest gun you can find. Your job here is technically to find the
coke, not eliminate all the druggies. There is a ladder around back that you
can climb and get into your building, this will make your job a lot easier.
When you pick up the cocaine (which is in a small room at the back) the police
will automatically swarm the building. Any drug dealers you didn't kill will
fight off the police making your escape easier. Remember not to kill anyone
if you can help it, it's a lot easier to lose a two star wanted level than a
three.
A coupe of extra tips: the is a first-aid kit in the large room near the back.
There is also a Pay'n'Spray in Purgatory (Algonquin, the middle island) that
you might want to set as a waypoint. Make sure there are no cops nearby when
you drive into it. If there are, just keep doing circles around the block
until you're clear. Remember that switching cars can help you escape the
police. When you finally lose them, go meet Little Jacob in the alley to
complete the mission and get $2500.
Have a Heart [H004]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Prerequisite: You must have completed all of Manny's missions first.
This is a very simple mission, it only requires you to drive from point A to
point B. Slow down at the toll booth to avoid attracting police attention,
and it'll be about the easiest $3000 you've ever made.
______________________________________________________________________________
==============================================================================
[I000] Playboy X's Missions
==============================================================================
Deconstruction for Beginners [I001]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is another mission it might be a good idea to pick up some body armour
for. There is an SUV stocked full of weapons waiting for you on the south
side of the island. Grab the weapons from the cab and then step onto the lift
with Playboy. When you get to the top you need to take out the three
lookouts. Two of the three are standing on the ends of the large cranes in
front of you. The third is a little more difficult to find, he's much closer
and you need to aim down pretty sharply in the direction of his icon to see
him. You might even be able to pick off a couple more guys than the ones
marked if you can see them.
Ride the lift down to the ground and cross the street to the construction
site, sticking to your right a little bit toward the red icon on your minimap.
Hop over the fence and start running toward the icon, you'll drop down into a
little pit where you'll be safe. Here you can wait for most of the goons to
come down the ladder and pick them off. Afterwards it shouldn't be difficult
to climb up and eliminate the first target.
To reach the second target you have to go up the ramp on the opposite side of
the yard, but keep tapping the L trigger to auto-target some of the union
goons still festering about. When you get to the top you'll automatically run
and pull out a grenade behind a wall. These can be useful here for picking
off about two of the five targets surrounding you. The rest will have to be
taken care of with one of your machine guns (including the second target).
The third target is further still. Take out the assault rifle and go up the
little ramp. From here you should be able to pick off every enemy from a
distance, the rifle has a very good range. When the fourth and final icon
appears, head down toward where the third target was located and continue in
that direction. When it's safe, pull out your sniper rifle and eliminate the
driver of the helicopter (or the chopper itself with a few shots) to make it
explode. There are a lot of enemies around here. Once you've taken care of
them all, you only need to run toward your fourth lone target and pop him to
collect your substantial $6500 reward.

[K000] Francis' Missions
==============================================================================
Call and Collect [K001]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drive down to the destination near the water and watch the scene. The officer
will send you a text message with the number of the blackmailer. Simply press
A while reading the text to call the number. You will notice that a guy
wearing a yellow coat on one of the benches down at the bottom near the middle
will stand up and hold a phone to his head. Make your way down and put a few
holes in him, then grab the evidence and get ready to evade the police again.
Once you manage to do that all you have to do is bring the photos back to
McReary and collect your 1000 bucks.

[L000] Packie's Missions
==============================================================================
Harboring a Grudge [L001]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When you get to the warehouse, climb up the piles of wood at the back and
shimmy across the sign to reach the rooftop. Packie will tell you to jump
down and steal the truck, but I find that if you have either an assault rifle
or a sniper rifle it's a hell of a lot easier to take out the majority of the
guys from on top of the roof using the little wall for cover. Grenades are an
effective weapon here too since there are just so many of them in a wide open
area.
Once you've eliminated as many as you can, jump down and collect a plethora of
uzi ammo and get ready to take on the few remaining guys still inside of the
building. Don't worry too much if you take damage, there's a first-aid kit on
the wall in the office. Jump into the truck and start driving toward you
destination. Some additional enemies will appear and start firing at your
truck. The truck can take the damage pretty well, but don't hesitate to drop
a couple grenades behind you (switch weapons in vehicles with X). It's no big
deal if the cops come after you, once you reach your destination you
automatically lose your wanted level. $7500 reward for completion.
Waste Not Want Knots [L002]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jump into a four door car and drive all the way to the plant. Be ready to
encounter resistance immediately when you arrive. Use your car for cover
while you pick off all the enemies you can see from your position, then when
the coast is clear jump the fence and pick off the rest. Meet up with the
rest of your team at the door and grab the first-aid kit if you need it. You
won't be coming back out this way, so no need to leave it behind.
Go through the doors and back out again to prompt your party to enter first.
When you're ready follow them in as well and eliminate all the enemies you can
find, progressing forward slowly. The money is in the office upstairs, when
you grab it, an infinite swarm of guys will start entering the building.
Forget trying to kill them all, just make your way to the back door in the
direction of the icon that doesn't have enemies coming through it. Watch out
though as there will likely be at least one enemy on the other side of the
door waiting for you.
Jump into the water and swim toward the boat. You're pretty safe at this
point. Once you're in all you have to do is drive back to Packie, and then
freely to your destination to cmplete the mission and collect eight grand.
Three Leaf Clover [L003]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Prerequisite: You must head to the Perseus clothing store and purchase a suit
with a tie and a nice pair of shoes, then come back between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.
This is one of the most difficult missions in the game, and a lot of people
are going to have trouble with this one. Fortunately I've got more than a few
tips that should almost ensure your success. I won't take you step by step
through each segment of the missions because it's essentially all the same
thing, shoot a bunch of police officers, then progress forward and do it
again. Not too complicated.
Before you even enter the bank, head to the gun store that's close by. Make
absolutely sure you buy some body armour to start, it'll make a world of
difference. Now when the alarm goes and you have the money, use the assault
rifle to take out as man of the cops outside as you can (you don't have to get
them all). When the coast is reasonably clear, go out the front door and to
the right and follow Packie and the other guy into the alley. From here it's
just a matter of following them around.
A few tips to make this part easier. Grenades can be a godsend, use them, but
also be careful. You don't want to blow up your teammates (on the same note
you have to be careful when firing as they won't necessarily be afraid to run
across your line of fire. This can be very frustrating). Also, watch out for
the cops shooting down at you from balconies above (this only occurs in one
spot, and your auto-aim should find them).
After the cutscene, don't assume the other guys have cleared the way. Right
when you go down the stairs into the subway and round the corner you'll be
face to face with two cops. Be careful and don't move in too quickly. Down
further you'll need to work with your teammates to eliminate the cops here.
Check out one of the pillars for a first-aid kit, you might need it at this
point.
It's more of the same making your way down further. Eliminate all the cops,
then jump down on the tracks and get ready to take on the last set. Run down
the tunnel, but stay on the left side as a subway will round the corner on the
right side. When you get to the end there is another first-aid kit at the
bottom of the stairs before you go up.
Now here's the best tip of all. When you get to the top your wanted level
drops to three stars and you're expected to make it back. Forget that, the
second your wanted level drops, turn around and go right back down into the
subway. Keep running along the tracks in the direction you were going, past
the next station and as far along as you can. It'll take a few minutes, but
since there are no cops down here you can easily get outside of their radius
and lose your wanted level this way. Makes the trip back to Packie's pretty
easy without a tail (the characters will even keep talking as if the cops are
still after you).
Your reward for this mission is a whopping $250,000 (not a typo) and all the
islands in the game unlocked and ready to explore. Congratulations.

A: During the Elizabeta mission "Blow Your Cover" (her second mission)
Q: *** S P O I L ER S *** Who do I choose, Playboy or Dwayne?
A: I'm not even that far, but from all the discussions I've read, Dwayne is
the man to keep around as he offers end game benefits, while Playboy X doesn't
