How do i get through the gate, to the door with the red secuirty light?

The level where you can go in these little tunnels , or little hut houses.
Good question. I actually spent like 10 minutes trying to figure it out and then it dawned on me...you have to use the Aftertouch and throw your glaive over the barbed fenc and hit the red light. then the gate opens.
