Asked on: 11/4 11:19PMDMC4 harddrive installing froze and reset my PS3, what's going on?
For some reason, when I tried to install game data for DMC4, the percentage stops at 7%, and then my TV screen goes black. When I tried to quit it either reset or shut down my PS3.
I tried restarting and quick formatting but nothing seems to work, is my game defective or just my HDD?

statustry playing another PS3 game/blu ray disc. Mine never went black, but it did freeze during installation every time. I found out that none of my other games worked, but everything else did, so it was my blu ray reader that got messed up. Bought a new (slim) PS3 an it worked fine.
it could also be a bad disc
