Once you have viewed the credits, you can go back into the Animus. Once you're back in, do something to cause it to save. Simply getting as far as you have, you probably already know what causes it to save. Once you do this, you won't have to view the credits ever again. Unfortunately, you'll still have to sit through Al Mualim's speech at the beginning of each memory block, though I believe IanXO4 has devised a method that allows you to bypass that.
