Got a question about being at the end or only near it?

Ok i know i beat the last story battle for england and i know because i got excalibur (sorry if spelt wrong). I also know i was able to play the last battle i had a lot of contracs for england and had full bar of fame so that all made since and it even said i now had the max fame.

Now that you know that my questin is it possible to continue on the same game and start doin some french contracks can i do the last one for the french (to get the weapon for that)?

you can continue with the game after that point, doing contracts for either side but you CANNOT do the last contract for france or get the durandal, for that you have to start a new game, IOW you cannot get both the excalibur and durandal in the same playthrough

no u cant u have to start up a new file for french weapon "Durandal"
