statusIf you're talking monetarily expensive, it's not. Right now it retails for $30 virtually everywhere. The play time varies depending on how much you explore and if you get the trophies and everything. It has online in the form of DLC but you probably don't care about that. And I'm fairly certain that it does not use Eight Gigabytes if that's what you were trying to say.
And the gameplay is good(but easy), and the story is very good.
It is worth buying without a doubt. The replay value is great and you can get it for about $30! and it takes about 5 GB to install and the save file starts small and gets bigger as you progress using about 12 MB by the end of the game.
Completely worth it, dlc add ons make up for no online play until BioShock 2 releases w/ multiplayer online. Snag the Brady book or follow one of the walkthroughs if you want to platinumize this game, worked for me, scared the crap out of myself at some parts even on the second playthrough. : )
This game is awesome i would definatly buy it i have beat at least 4 times and i m still not bored with it.
It was well worth my $20, and now that I know how good it is, I'd have paid $60 if I had that much. Best single-player shooter ever. Hands down. I normally absolutely hate shooters, in fact. (Fighting game player.)
Listen up man, As of now this game costs a measly $20. Probably less if you buy used. Regardless, if you're a shooter fan, this is a must have. The combat stays fresh and full of creative opportunity no matter how many times you've played through. I personally took weeks and weeks to complete the story mode and it was worth every second. Rapture has captured the feel of a real life living breathing city like no other game. It's compelling, intriguing and thought provoking and many other ambitious sounding adjectives all rolled into one. BUY IT!
